Hey, so the Dark Souls Mid-Tiers were supposed to get their 6-C Rating replace with High 6-C because their Calc was Updated with that but it hasn't been done yet. Can you help KLOL and I out?
    Hi Bambu!
If you don't mind I have a quick question about probability manipulation potency standards.
I know the potency can be determined on certainty like characters who can turn a 0% chance to 100%, but can it also be determined on how many possibilities a character can control?
For example, would Othinus or the Transcendence who can passively manipulate infinite possibilities to 100% have greater potency than a character who can just place one possibility to 100%?

There's a dispute here and it looks like it would be best for a mod opinion. Thanks!
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    Oh, damn.

I don't really have a good opinion for this- I think both are equally as potent and affecting more is more akin to range rather than strength.

Mr._Bambu I am terribly sorry to bother you, but I have a calculation question, if someone dodged a bullet that was moving at 2800 feet per second from a 100 yards away the moment it touched the side of their head would their reaction speed be Mach 568?.

Well. I need to point out one major thing, this isn't usable for VSBW in any capacity since it relies on WoG from Twitter, something we famously don't use anymore due to Death of the Author and egregious inconsistencies with written works. So immediately I need to state, my insight here is working under just looking at the math and not approving it for on-site use.

Without a proper scan, I'm forced to assume he took an insane high-ball in terms of distance moved of the bullet (4 mm, the thickness of the skin). He has no backing for this. It's an insane base assumption. The head is less insane but still pretty nuts- basically these assumptions say they only started moving in the literal nanosecond the bullet was upon him. Like it was essentially touching him.

If we were to continue accepting the false assumptions and bad usage of Word of God, then yes, the fundamental math of dividing is correct (though he hides it behind using initially bad units, like why is he using feet?)

Hi Mr Bambu, Ourosboros made an updated version of a calc with a method you recommended in this thread could you please give some feedback in the thread on weather the new calc should be used over the old one. Thanks

Hey sorry to bother you but I’ve noticed a small problem with one of my accepted calcs.

Currently 1.42295611810961454e16 joules is the accepted output, but I’ve reput the calc into a calculator a dozen times, including once today, and I keep getting 1.42295611810961454e17 which changes the calc from 3.4 megatons to 34 megatons. I’m wondering if I should make a new blog for this to be reevaluated or should I edit the current blog and have you (or someone else) reevaluate it.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I would edit the current one and I can re-eval. I think the mistake should be pointed out to DMUA though as well, whether he re-evals too, given he accepted it before.

Ok I’ll edit it when I get the chance. I’m doing math homework right now, I think I’ll be done soon.

I’ve edited the calc, I’m still doing math homework so I’ll contact DMUA soon.
Hey mate I forgot to say that you should ban this account because i am actually pan and i told you this regardless can you just ban me thank you
Hello. This is for a CRT I'm doing. In this page, there's only results for a magnitude 7 and a magnitude 7.5 earthquake, but there isn't one for a magnitude of 7.1. Would you be able give me the exact value for this? Thank you.

Question about the outsiders in DnD, are they type 4 concepts, type 3 concepts, or type 2 concepts?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
    For their abstract existence?

They represent very minimal, infinitesimal portions of a greater Type 2 concept (which things like demon lords and deities in turn represent a far greater portion, if not the entire thing- like Mystra is the entire concept of magic).
Hi I was wondering if you could help me answer this question? If a character jumps off the moon and the force of the jump causes a gigantic crater then the person lands on a ship. The ship gets a small crater in it were the person landed, but for the most part the ship is intake. Does the ship's durability scale to the damage that person did on the moon? Or is the force reduced/dispersed before the person lands?

Would it be better if we send you the whole scene for better context?

I doubt I could garner enough context to sway myself one way or another- it really would come down to extremely obscure details that would be outright bizarre to include in anything meant for entertainment. Basically my official analysis comes down to, "interpret it as the majority believes, since we can't really judge one way or another".
I mightve had a terrible idea for a match Right Here, thoughts?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'm not really a guy of either verse, I don't tend to dip into VS matches unless I'm one of the main people for one of the verses, and there is a 0% chance I'm going to debate the Sonic fanbase.

Hey Bambi, long time no speak! Truth be told, after you left the Discord I assumed that was because you were leaving the Wiki as a whole.

Anyway, I understand you spearheaded the effort to delete MGQ from the site. I have a verse I created pages for following MGQ being allowed, but seeing as that's been kiboshed, I figured it's only fair I bring this verse to the potential chopping block next.

Now I'll admit I didn't read the entire MGQ thread so maybe the points I'm about to make were brought up there, in which case I apologize for bringing up arguments that may have been refuted ad nauseum. While Quest Failed does feature sex scenes with monster girls and this is probably it's biggest selling point, none of these scenes feature minors and few of them involve r*pe. I'd say 80% of the scenes are dedicated to story and 20% to sexual encounters.

This message ended up way longer than I planned. If you want to do a Google search of the series yourself and then make your judgment call that's fine too. Or if I need to make a thread about it, I can do that. Thanks for your time.
    Arrogant_Schmuck
    Arrogant_Schmuck
Obviously I'd prefer it to stay so if you could ask around/do some investigation that'd be cool, but I also won't lose sleep if it gets erased. So would you say making a thread is not necessary?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I'll have to look into it first. I'm not really keen on getting trigger happy about deleting verses. Before I do that- tell me, straight up, is that ****?
    Arrogant_Schmuck
    Arrogant_Schmuck
I mean... yeah. There's several uncensored sex scenes. Nowhere near as gratuitous or rapey as MGQ, I'd argue, but still explicit.
    Heya.

If you find the time to do so, I would really appreciate it if you could take a look at this. One calc group member already said that it's fair game, but I think that getting others to evaluate it can't hurt for something that would apply to an entire verse.

Take all the time you need, and thanks in advance.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
for something as generally-non-controversial as TF2, typically one is enough. but I guess I'll take a look when I have time.
    Hello Mr. Bambu.

I put a calc you did for me a while back into a blog to get it evaluated. Just wanted to let you know that I gave the credit to you for the calc and was wondering if you could check it out and evaluate it (make sure I didn't screw up).

    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I can't really evaluate a calc I did, though its simple enough that you should be able to just ask anybody to look at it.
    LordGriffin1000
    LordGriffin1000
My bad, I already asked another calc member. I just wanted to be sure it was ok that I used your calc.

    Mr. Bambu
    oh, yeah lol, it's fine.
Could you evaluate this storm creation calc? It's been posted on the evaluation thread for over a month now with no response, and it's holding back a lot of progress with the verse.
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
replied, adverse to touching this particular verse but I'll oblige.
Hi, I was working on some updates for Shadows of the Damned, and I found out that you made a calc and somewhat of a respect thread for it. If I may ask, did you just forget/not want to bother with updating them, or were they scrapped for some reason?
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
I could but I feel as though I have evaluated this very same feat multiple times, what's the story with calcing it again?
    Ourosboros
    Ourosboros
There were three previous calcs for this(that I am aware of), I've been told they are all outdated so we needed to recalc it. This newer calc apparently uses the currently accepted methods
    Ourosboros
    Ourosboros
But if there's an up-to-date version that you know of, I'd be happy to take that and use it in the ongoing CRT about Boros and the Serious Punch
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
The argument isn't that reactions change. Basically calc stacking is a situation you can fairly easily and unwittingly enter (as you've done here) where you can accidentally create a chain of infinite scaling, where even low-tier feats like Subsonic reactions can easily reach FTL speeds.

Basically, art is going to be inconsistent, always. Assumptions will not always be on point. Thus, using calculated speeds when one character reacts faster once, means that if he is ever caught off-guard by the character he originally out-sped (Flashy Flash in this scenario), Flashy could, theoretically, scale off of the person who scales off of being superior to him. See the issue?
    LIFE_OF_KING
    LIFE_OF_KING
    Mr. Bambu
    Mr. Bambu
Calc stacking is using a previously established calc to get a value for a new calc. So aye, that's calc stacking. At best, you could say Blast is vastly superior to Flashy (which is correct) and rate him as "At least (insert Flashy's speed here), likely far higher".
