  • Don't DM me for calc evaluations, you can just leave a message here if the Evaluation Thread isn't working for you.

Yo, saw your comments on the calc being discussed in this thread and wanted to know if you’d be willing to explain your views more here?

We have a visual shot clearly showing Penny is moving Amity up slowly. We also know it's not even in free fall, as we get multiple shots across the entire conversation that shows this. The idea it's bad animation is a very poor argument, they would need actual evidence in order to prove this. They cannot just claim bad animation by itself.

Assuming there is no other force acting on Amity is wrong. There is no counter against this and the assumptions used in the calculation have no basis. We can clearly see and measure the speed Penny raises Amity and it's very unimpressive. The screen's movement is not usable, as the distance there is exaggerated and is not meant to be literal.

Amity would only be a few hundred meters off the ground if it was. And the numbers on the screen are not usable either as they aren't labeled as anything. We cannot make up assumptions for them. There is clearly another "force" acting on Amity, though we aren't certain what the Gravity Dust is doing.

Maybe it's providing upward thrust enough to match Remnant's acceleration via gravity to keep Amity in place, or maybe it's nullifying gravity like Ochako's Quirk, or maybe it's only lowering gravity's acceleration by a certain amount? Regardless, this also means my calculation is wrong as well.

Even for LS, as we don't know what the Gravity Dust has done to make Amity Levitate.

I've already explained everything I needed to in the blog's comments. I'd rather not get involved with RWBY on this wiki if I can help it.
Could you please evaluate this thread when you have time for it please?

May I please have your permission to comment on this thread?

    TheRustyOne
Why do you need my permission?

    I don't remember that being a rule.

"A board serving as a workshop for the calc group, to more easily discuss different calculations and wiki projects. Other members should only comment if they can provide information, or it is otherwise useful for a discussion."

Considering your the OP, I don't see why you can't talk.

Yes, I made a mistake. Sorry about that. I meant to say, could you please give me your feedback on this thread? (My English is not very good.)

Sorry, I'm a bit busy with other stuff now.

If it's still open when I'm more free I'll take a look at it.
Hi. I remember that you told me that you would not evaluate calculations of TWD verse. But this is just supporting speed feat. SunDaGamer already looked at this calculation and asked to make some changes. Jason_Courne made changes to calc but SunDaGamer after 3 days still haven't answered. Can you please evaluate this calc

    Interested?

0.66715^3*((27136*1.37895+8649)^(1/2)/13568-93/13568)^2 = 0.0000238647 Tons of TNT or 99.849 Kilojoules (Wall level).

How did you mess that up?

Hello again Rusty, Is there a guide on the wiki explaining how calculate the destruction of a building?
Please allow me to disturb. Can you help me in this thread?
Hello, just wanted to ask if is it okay the way I have scaled this X-66 profile? Does something needs to be changed?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
I think durability might be questioned. Though the reasoning is similar to how we scale Ryukyu, who withstood Shigaraki hitting Endeavor into hard enough to injure both of them. Though, the jets obviously don't bleed or injure like people. I'm personally alright with it, the scaling looks fine.
Hi Rusty, Could you please review this thread?

You didn't need to make a thread about this, you've just brought this up to my attention.

Considering the manga shows it in the same manner, there shouldn't be any problem with calculation.

I see. I made a thread since i already made most of the verse Superhuman in speed and since it's been months, thought it would be too late to respond. I'll keep this in mind next time, thanks btw 🙏🏽
Hello Rusty, I tried my first speed calc and I think I made alot of errors. Could you please leave some suggestions so I can fix it

Hello again, I tried my hands at a speed feat more simple, although it might be wrong. Could you please check it?

Edit: If a link is not working, just remove the /%7C/ at the end of the link

No way am I dealing with that.

Manga panels and bullet stuff is way too messy and gets heated in conflict.

Let me tell you right now, there's nothing in that panel that shows him dodging the bullet like you're claiming. The manga would need to show the bullet in mid air and show Denji is still in the path of the bullet. If that's not shown you don't have a feat no matter what you claim. Since he could've dodged before it was fired.

This is all I'll say on the matter, your free to ask another calc group member but I don't want the headache.

Hello again, I found a new feat I want to attempt (specifically to replace the current Mach 6 feat that most Mid - High tiers scale to in CSM regarding that it got rejected). I found this feat and it looks like it would yield good results regarding that those are supersonic arrows and Santa was able to catch them without effort. However although it would serve as a good replacement, I have no idea is its actually calcable because seemingly there is no distance

I'm not fully confident in these types of calcs, especially this many.

There's an issue with them I, personally, need to resolve before I can conclusively say anything.

If there is a problem with my calculation, can you tell me when you have time?
    Could use feedback

My opinion is irrelevant as I'm just a calc group member.

I don't see anything wrong with CRT myself though, if you want to know.
    TheAngryOrange
I don't mean in a 'please sign off on this' sort of way. Just a 'i know about nier' sort of way. Especially with the last bit since the change proposed is rather drastic and if I recall correctly you used to be an admin or something so you can comment if a change like that actually benefits the pages.

Your still measuring the building wrongly.

You can't px something like that, the way to find the height in that picture only would be through the use of angular size.

Your window scale becomes inaccurate when something gets closer or further away from the "screen". That's why angular size exist.

For the first one I think you should get someone else is opinion at this point, due to how much has changed.

And I don't deal with those kind of feats in the second calc anymore, way too much trouble. I personally don't see them as feats anymore.
Hello Rusty, I hope you're having a good day today. Now this has been evaluated by one of the members of the evaluation group, but I would like to hear your opinion on this.

I know your policy about Calc Evaluations, but I come here because this calculation purportedly implements ISL, and reading through it... I would like someone who has familiarized themselves with this formula and gotten it approved.

    DastardlyDangerousDracoga
Oh... yeah I didn't know that was there. I'm assuming due to the brief response, you agree with what Agnaa said, yes?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
It's not just an agreement, he is correct. From what I remember, I brought up that blog myself when discussing how the inverse square law worked.

I didn't understand ISL back then and was researching it. I saw that blog was accepted and was confused by why it was different compared to what I was researching and trying out for myself. The method was different and the results were massively inflated beyond belief.

The calculation is flawed, they aren't using the formula properly and are ignoring the object's surface area.
    DastardlyDangerousDracoga
    DastardlyDangerousDracoga
I didn't know you came across this prior to me asking. To be completely honest, I also held some suspicions when I had came across that blog.

But nonetheless resolved, and I commend your efforts of gaining knowledge and experience working with ISL. Hope you a good rest of your day.
Hi, sorry for bother you but if you have time, can you check my calcs?

Except for one, they are all simple speed calculations
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
There's usually a limit to how many calculations I can evaluate at once.

Not only that but this is Marvel as well, sorry but I'm not touching that, best to ask someone else.
