Thanks for doing the Monstra recalc. A quick question, is it fine to make a CRT now to replace the other one, or since there is more than one calc it has to be posted in the calc discussion thread to see which one is used?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
It's standard for a calc group discussion thread to be made. However the OP changed his calc to another method that isn't accepted.

So I'm not certain how that works. He was using a different method, even though the Square Cube Law is used in basically every single giant calculation.

The OP of that original calc did say that mine was fine. I imagine the talk of making any thread or how the calc works can be brought up in the upcoming CRT.

If Staff feel like that thread is necessary, I can go ahead and make it. Though I think it isn't needed, since technically his calc isn't accepted anymore.

Do you think you can try ripping out the model for Divine Dragon's sword from Sekiro?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
I do not have Sekiro, and I'm currently in the process of saving up money so I cannot buy it.

Though I do plan on playing that game eventually.
You seem to be knowledgeable on MHA, do you think Stinger would be a good matchup for certain characters from that verse?

Oh right, yeah it would. While Nine is hesitant to use his Weather powers, he'd be very on guard with Stinger's AP being so high. So he'd be far more likely to use it.

    Completely forgot about that.

Sorry to bother you again, but do you think Child Emperor could have a decent match? Without Brave Giant of course.
Can you calculate this earthquake Salem made by manipulation of the grimm River to erupt?

Makes sense, but isn't that big mha crt for the final arc not happening until the last arc is over?

Meaning no large island level crt until the arc finishes?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
No, we weren't waiting for the end of the story. Just for a place we're certain that the big scaling is over.

Honestly we're mostly waiting for Izuku's current percentage and maybe Bakugo getting back up again.

However I'm doing something more. No stat changes... I hope. Just some general stuff, I'd like to add some references to some pages at some point as well.

I have an odd question. What makes a page good? Like I get more scans the better. But there has to be more to it than that, right?
In case you don't remember me I'm the guy busy with all the Nier pages. And I've been doing some cleaning up to them. Especially since you had said you thought they got worse. I know you want to stay away from the replicant pages but I just did a pass over the 2B page.
Just as an example as to what I did with it, in plug in chips I now specify which chip gives them what power you don't have to scrounge for it but I'm also thinking about linking it to the subsection at the bottom so they can get the details if they wish. Would that be good? Or too much?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
I already have an idea about how to handle this. Currently right now things our happening so I can't deal with much of anything.

But in the future I have vague outline of an idea. The Tiering/Stats are honestly the easiest part and aren't much of an issue.

It's the power and abilities section along with lack of references.
    TheAngryOrange
You'll forgive me if I bother you more with this in the future. Just been going through the profiles starting with the big names. The rollypolly bosses and the lesser yorha are just gonna have to wait their turn. I've also been moving the powers above the maso stuff so if we do decide to get rid of them we don't have to worry about removing something we want to keep.
    TheAngryOrange
Alright, taking a pause here for feedback. Haven't touched the ball bearings nor the lesser yorha including the commander (though looking at her, since she's not actually yorha she should lose the never need fuel clause). Also, I've been putting in scans but so far 2B is the only one I put in references as in reference tags for.

I will also say I've been getting crickets in terms of some revisions I've been pushing. The person who made the push for all the abilities, I reached out to them to see if they want to make a blog or page explaining all of this and I got crickets.

There were also a few changes I had pushed for that is also getting crickets. I had made a CRT and posted on the community discussions but got nothing. Like the idea of Pod getting durability negation on the count that his lasers pass through solid matter (I have a photo of the world guide talking about how the laser stream will hit everyone in the radius).

Though on a funny note. That whole "flight unit flew from orbit to surface in 30 seconds" always irked me. So I did my own calc of another incident thinking for sure it would be a downgrade. But I ended up getting the same speed ranking. Submitted for review, made a change based on calc mod feedback which ended up getting me an even higher speed rating. shrug Whodda thunk.
Also, since lightning is the hot topic for the night...

Would this feat be resistance to heat and/or electricity manip?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
IDK? Looks like they still got burnt, just cartoon burns.

I have no idea and I avoid taking part with verses like Johnny Test, Looney Tunes, or any kind of comedy centered cartoons.

Too much of a pain to try and understand/index a show that doesn't care to be consistent.
The speed obtained in this calc doesn't get affected if we used more frames right? Just asking.
    Therefir
    Therefir
The rotation value you got looks pretty accurate but logically the rotation speed of the outer part would only apply to the outer part of the storm.
I got the speed of the inner part of the storm and Rusty have the speed of the outer part, but how that would help us get the energy of the spin? Should I just use the average between those two speeds or what?
    Hk1488
    Considering the dispersion:
I just meant that the end result of the explosion contradicts the dispersion radius being that high. We only see the cloud partially blown that distance and that over the course of the entire explosion rather than 15 frames because we don't know exactly just how long it took since the explosion covers most of the feat.

If I knew how I would try to blog these feats myself. Kinda hard to get my point across as a non native English speaker.
    Therefir
    Therefir
If you think the explosion covered the storm that's fine but I'm gonna keep assuming the explosion pushed the storm away and that they didn't overlap.
Hey Rusty were you good at doing calcs?
Ello! You seem pretty knowledgeable on RWBY, so I got a simple question.

I've heard from a supporter that apparently people with Aura can tank 8-A to Low 7-B attacks despite them being High 8-C, but it isn't mentioned anywhere on the profile. So, might I ask, is this true? And if it is, I assume the pages are just outdated?
Yo Rusty I have a question.

You know how Pre-Final Act Deku has Supernatural Willpower?

Can you show me some specified feats just justify this if possible?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
If you take a look at his profile you could find it yourself, that is the point of references so people can check themselves.

Izuku is capable of breaking his fingers repeatedly during his fight with Todoroki in Chapter 38 and 39. Even using his already broken fingers for more attacks until they physically cannot move anymore due to the damage he is taking. Even then he still found a way to use them by flicking his fingers from his mouth.

Supernatural Willpower: "Characters with this ability may be able to resist enormous amounts of pain"
    RandomGuy2345
    RandomGuy2345
    Ahh, okay.

I asked you this because I made a CRT about characters from a verse potentially having Supernatural Willpower, and it ended up getting rejected.

I wanted to see the standards for Supernatural Willpower.
I'm wrapping things up in regards to my sandbox which I'm guessing you avoided to avoid spoilers which is fine. But to the meat of the issue. You said you think the nier pages have gotten worse. I can use feedback on what you think needs changing.
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
Sorry but I can't really spare the time to the series yet. If I'm going to be discussing the Nier verse as a whole, which is what I want to do, it'll be after I finish the series.

And that won't happen for awhile.
Hey, could you make a sandbox of what you want to make with Shoto's profile please?
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
I'll be getting to it eventually, so you don't need to worry about it.

Still getting everything ready for other characters and the like.

I'll likely get more done in the next few days, as I usually stay off this forum when the chapter leaks come out and don't usually check back until Friday.
Is Endeavor 638 Megatons of is he downscaling to baseline 7-A+ (550 Megatons)

Right now? In the thread we agreed on downscaling for him, 45%, Crust AP, and Nejire so they're 550 MT. I cannot remember if anyone else is.

However in the future revisions I believe they shouldn't be downscaling. At least not Endeavor and 45%. Since Endeavor's damage to the High-Ends with his propelled strikes has no reason to be downscaling from them. He is weaker, but honesty that difference between them is rather small. And 45% is at least comparable to Endeavor.

Shigaraki would be scaling an unknown amount higher (Unless something happens). As he's superior to the High-Ends, but is still on comparable terms with them.
Quick question. I won't go into details. But how do you know if something is vaporized. Or pulverized.
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
Vaporized without any clear visuals would need a statement, unless it was a liquid being destroyed since that cannot be pulverized.

Usually vaporization comes from an attack with high heat, if you can confirm the attack in question has vaporized before or has statements of vaporization. Those can be good enough depending on the circumstances. However without any direct confirmation, telling the difference between dust and vapor can be difficult.

Really just depends on the feat in question, everything varies.
    Two quick questions.

Let's say you have a character with really skinny limbs but he can punch multi ton characters and send them flying. Then another character blocks their punches. Can I calculate the strength of the block from the energy that they usually hit with? Or am I stuck with kinetic energy from their scrawny limbs?

Also, where would I get permission to make tiny changes. Namely this for the Automata pages

Damage Reflection (Each damage taken has a 50% chance of being dealt back to the enemy with power doubled),

    To

Damage Reflection (Each damage taken has a 50% chance of being dealt back to the enemy with power doubled, counter chip grants technique to reflect up to 250% damage back at the enemy on block).
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
Don't know if you're still following this.

But I've just recently played through all of Nier Replicant and acquired all of the endings. I assume you're talking about Emil's attack that wiped of the Aerie, and I don't see that scaling to anyone. The blast destroyed the giant shade that they were struggling to defeat and the party had to avoid it.
    TheAngryOrange
I can see that. Though it might be moot.

So originally I scaled the replicant characters separately from the Automata characters. The exception were Automata's Popola and Devola who scaled from their Replicant counterparts who scaled to Nier&Co. But the others disagreed with me and felt that Nier&Co should scale to Replicant's Popola & Devola who back scale from Automata's Popola & Devola who scales to 9S.
    TheRustyOne
    TheRustyOne
I'm uncertain of the scaling between games, due to the large time difference. While I highly doubt Devola and Popola got any enhancements after how the Androids treated them for failing. I also don't really know if they should scale to 9S/A2 to my knowledge. They only fought common fodder enemies if I recall.

But I feel like the twins in Replicant would actually be superior to twins Automata, at least they seemed far stronger and had more abilities.

    I'm uncertain of this.
