Ground rules:
  • Speed is NOT equalized.
  • They will start 50 meters apart.
  • Fight takes place in a random city in Japan.
  • Neither has prior knowledge on the other.
Character rules:
  • Deku will have his Final War Arc key and can access all of his Quirks.
  • Boros will begin in his Released key, but can transform into his Meteoric Burst key at any given moment.
  • Both are in-character, but Deku is fully aware that he needs to kill Boros.
Deku's AP: 42.37 Petatons (feat), 211.85 Petatons with Quintuptle Recharge.
Boros's AP: 9.4911 Petatons by scaling to the durability of his ship, 646.57085 Petatons with Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon.

Thought this would be an interesting idea given Deku's recent high 6-A buff. I was mixed between using Genos or Boros in this post, but figured Boros would be the far greater challenge between the two.

This is also my first versus battle post, so feel free to give me tips and whatnot. I mostly referred to the rules page and looked at other forums for reference when making this, so help would be appreciated.

The difference between an “exaton” and a “petaton” is 1000x

Boros is over 100x stronger than Deku here and over 20x him with Fa Jin.

Deku cannot damage Boros here so fight is a stomp.

My initial presumption for this battle was that Deku could inflict small amounts of damage through Fa Jin, while also being able to keep distance through his heavy speed advantage and use of Quirks such as Danger Sense.

Furthermore, Boros's higher tier attacks such as Meteoric Burst drain him heavily, meaning that Deku could possibly outlast him in a battle of stamina.

However, even when granting this, Boros would probably win due to the range of his Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, which Deku can't dodge despite his speed. It's in-character for Boros to use this attack eventually as well.

Tragic matchup, even from my former perspective.

Deku definitely has that speed advantage, but with how big the gap is his punches are going to tickle Boros at best
 
Why is this a stomp? Doesn't Deku have pretty good hax and amps? How does Boros win here because Deku has good endurance and heat resistance.
 
Hm. With this just being a fun and games with Deku’s AP boosted, he should be able to beat the heck out of Boros with the Gearshift amp + Fa Jin spam. He crushes in LS so Blackwhip can hold him, though I imagine Boros can just burst out with heat or his bullets, but that’s not helping much when he’s getting launched all over the place. Biggest problem Deku faces is the Regen, something he knows all too well about, but Boros if threatened or feeling excited enough will go Metoric which burns him out very quickly even through his Regen.

He might go for a collapsing star roaring cannon, but Deku would either not let him get it off by yanking his arms to not aim at the ground or just never give him the time to charge up for it with a neverending barrage of punches.

Even without Gearshift, in say the first parts of the fight, Boros won’t be landing hits through Danger Sense or be able to surprise him with his energy blasts. Deku will just dodge and analyze Boros’s moves to land hits or charge up Fa Jin to smack him with Blackchain bindings. I’d imagine that would continue for quite a while before Deku lands a good hit and prompts Boros to go Meteoric, which Deku would respond with Gearshift, putting them both on a timer but Boros’s will run out first.

The feat Deku is scaling above is 4.5x stronger than Boros, so he’s gonna be beating his face in pretty bad now, especially with Fa Jin and Gearshift. Deku is strong enough to straight punch holes in Boros at that point. Pretty sure fight goes the same but Deku dominates even harder until Boros is forced to use the CSRC, which Deku can dodge or redirect.

With the AP gap and Gearshift, Deku should easily piece up Boros. He was stated to be able to reduce Shigaraki to nothing, so he should be able to do the same here. Deku mid diffs.
 
So how Boros has pretty much no advantages besides being able to get slapped around for some time thanks to regen?
Then Deku FRA
 
It has essentially become Saitama vs Boros again just Deku needs a bit more effort and has to actually care about the CSRC.

Boros probably gonna have the time of his life but Deku will endure all he’s got and fire back harder until he outlasts his regen.

The greatest hero stops an alien invasion, mid diff.

Boros is gonna have the happiest day of his life in finding someone who will beat him that also isn't completely invincible in comparison. Deku FRA.
