That is slightly intriguing. I don't know if that's bad to say, sorry if it is.Flashback to the time some person asked people to calc 9/11 for an AP value.

Assuming it was a Boeing 777, it weighed at most 247 tonnes, and was going about Mach 0.87, 10833508440.251 J (almost exactly 10^10J), or Large Building level. That is slightly intriguing. I don't know if that's bad to say, sorry if it is.
There is also the explosion that ensued, it wasn't purely kinetic energyAssuming it was a Boeing 777, it weighed at most 247 tonnes, and was going about Mach 0.87, 10833508440.251 J (almost exactly 10^10J), or Large Building level.
Hmm...
Or maybe because fiction can have fvcked up depictions that you would normally find in an adult cartoon?Flashback to the time some person asked people to calc 9/11 for an AP value.

What is wrong with you…?Assuming it was a Boeing 777, it weighed at most 247 tonnes, and was going about Mach 0.87, 10833508440.251 J (almost exactly 10^10J), or Large Building level.
Hmm...
he did the math nobody else would've doneWhat is wrong with you…?
Honestly that wasn't too hard of a task. Just google weight of a Boeing and its average speedWhat is wrong with you…?
Now if someone were to pixel scale the explosion...
it wouldn't be in good taste, but the audacity would be hilariousApologies if I don’t find viewing a terrorist attack from a power scaling lens to be funny or even remotely in good taste, I guess
Also, technically powerscaling terrorist attacks and catastrophes is a thing since people calculated even the beirut explosions (average results around a kiloton)
Also Beirut is where I come from, so kindly don'tImplying that just because it's happened before, it's okay
No it's literally calculated by scientists and is on wikipedia. I am not powerscaling tragedies I am talking about an actual job people have. Also Beirut is where I come from, so kindly don't
I know people actually do this for research purposes but that's different from "lol let's power scale 9/11 it'd be funny"No it's literally calculated by scientists and is on wikipedia. I am not powerscaling tragedies I am talking about an actual job people have.
I know and I am not saying it is.I know people actually do this for research purposes but that's different from "lol let's power scale 9/11 it'd be funny"
YaFor powerscaling reasons?
I'm more concerned that it's close to the baseline for High 8-C. Not only would it be incredibly poor taste for that to be where it came from, it's not a good reference for what we tend to imagine (which is apparently 8-A).And I'm glad about that. Just saw the sentiment that power scaling the 9/11 attack would be funny, which is a sentiment I will never get behind
The building's destruction was via structural failure so the 8-A value wouldn't apply.I'm more concerned that it's close to the baseline for High 8-C. I know, that's my point. The building's destruction was via structural failure so the 8-A value wouldn't apply.

My pet peeves? I have too many… For starters: Over-zealous and faulty tier 1 revisions getting spammed left and right that don't even clarify what fiction the revision is about in the thread's title. My favorite example is this one linked below. At least the guy who posted it has a good sense of humor.
Average Tier 1 Revision
Where???scrolling up & seeing the 9/11 shit was something I was not prepared for dawg
that shit WILD
