Also, just should point out in case anyone didn't realize, basically there couldn't be two Saitama's, so they flew towards each other, and the future/past one was assimilated into the present Saitama, who seems to still remember the events seeing as he was surprised that Genos was alive. Although it's confusing that the core didn't then assimilate with Genos in-turn, but it is what it is I guess.
It is a temporal paradox logically speaking, but temporal paradox ain’t always permanent though and can in theory been resolved in specific ways.

Saitama touched the cube earlier, which allows him to hear God, like Flashy Flash and Manako.
Not sure if we can assume he keeps the ability forever after touching it once.
He also heard phoenixman's telepathy and then broke into his mindspace way before that too.

Reversal of causality can just be a fancy way of saying time rewind. Not sure it gives them both causality manipulation. Especially not Garou since he literally states he can't do it

Because he's surprised that Genos, his best friend and roommate, is still alive. Saitama wouldn't know exactly what happened, hell he might not even realize that he has time traveled at all.
I was talking about the "What am I doing over here?" and "I remember getting hit by Garou's GRB move or whatever..." stuff. The latter implies he experienced the event pretty recently from his pov.

Ame no Uzume is the Japanese name for Jupiter's Great Red Spot. It's also the name of the Goddess of Laughter and Dance in Shinto Mythology. In the Myth of Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess seals herself inside the Amano-Iwato cave after she becomes enraged by her brother's actions, deprived the world of light. The gods gather around the cave and try to get Amaterasu out, and what ultimately gets her to step out of the cave is Ame No Uzume stripping naked and dancing before all the gods (Amaterasu is curious as to why all the gods are laughing and cheering despite the world ending).

So Murata is maybe saying that now that Jupiter's Great Red Spot was stripped naked, the seal of God will be opened.
isn't it still ongoing whether jupiter has a core or not, or how big it is. the core revealed in opm is pretty big and could be where god is or if there are multiple stuff. im a pretty big fan of manga that get philosophical and connect it to astronomy stuff.

Technically traveling through time and having a statement of reversing causality as a result of traveling through time does make things interesting though.

So Saitama and Garou get Causality Manipulation?
Saitama 100% does, through atomic body control or self matter manipulation... or quantuum shit, idk.

Garou stated that while he could imagine the concept he couldn't actually pull it off reliably, and thus wanted Saitama to copy it, improve it and use it. Granted his attempt was also ruined by GOD just taking the powers back and turning him into salt midway, so it's just a huge maybe.

Ah nevermind, I just understood what happened. He was holding Genos' core and visibly looked shocked at it (surprised that he could recognize it but that's besides the point). He assumed that it meant Genos was dead.

So yeah, Saitama remembers none of it. Which is fine I guess, but kinda would've preferred if he did.

Weird he kept the physical vessel strength but didn't keep the memories ruining any character development he could have obtained from this, but okay i guess.

My question is, is he as strong as other Saitama? Also, yeah, I really, really hate amnesia stuff. Would definitely prefer if they Saitama merged with his future self and gained those memories.

Maybe he lost the strength too. I still feel like they fully combined and Saitama just needs a bit of time to remember.

Huh... So what's with the panel where the two Saitama's merge?
When Matter travels back in time, particles get turned into anti-matter (See the pages where it talks about Garou emitting anti-matter particles from his cosmic radiation). Matter and Anti-Matter cancel each other out. So Present Saitama and Future Saitama's particles were attracted to one another and then nullified each other when they collided.

It's just Quantum Bullshit to justify there only being one Saitama. The science is about on par with Silver Age comics.

I'm surprised no one's caught it yet but the chapter implies that serious punch squared was abnormally strong, which may give credit to its name

Hoping the ending gets redrawn quickly. I hate amnesia.

While i get they wanted to take the easy route i feel like retconning the memories was really unecessary.
It means the entire arc and Garou fight was pointless for both Garou and Saitama in character development. I know OPM likes to be anti-climax, but this is just ridiculous.

how about we wait until the next chapter before leaping immediately to "he forgor💀". it's always possible that he regains the memories a bit later and is just shocked rn

Garou also states an object (or just stuff in general) has to be in his vision to be able to ''teleport'' there, which is interesting. I don't like what they did to him this chapter though. Feels kind of rushed.

What’s weird is that Saitama seems to possess some recollection since he mentions Genos dying. I don’t know I guess we’ll have to see next chapter for the probably final to the arc.
