I like to point out the statement of there being infinite number of timelines is only from the visual novel which was over 2 decades or close to 2 decades at this point as it likely got retconned with the later statements

For the culling, QTL, and energy problem, one thing to count is, that they exist only in the universe of human perception (Universe of Awareness), in Lostbelt 5.5 Skadi tell us that Imaginary Number Space/Void Space (Another term to name Universe of Record) hold the same number of possibilities than the Universe we know and that it's count every unobserved possibility too so there is no possibility that cannot be assumed to not exist.

Since the latter doesn't have problem of energy (show by the presence of Tiamat inside it and Moon cell text telling the energy problem is from Universe of Awareness) nor the presence of QTL.
It should still be possible that the finite energy and infinite energy coexist same for the timeline.

I answer here since the deagonx thread banned me misunderstood something (crimson give me full authorisation not to just say a quick thing).

It's have something to do with QTL since one of important part of the argument ks that since the universe have limited energy. QTL obligatory make limited amount of timeline possible. But if the universe is infinity in size the universe can't have finite energy.
