Chapter is once again short but sweet-- time to compare to the webcomic to see if there are any differences. The art is good but no details jump out to me as new here
Zaedats actually looked pretty slick with it. The image where the monster is about to eat him is also kinda terrifying. As for my poor poor sweet summer child Infelsinave, I wonder if he actually had any psychic powers and what killed him. Did Erimin or Destro just straight up shoot him in the chest?

Since nobody's saying anything in here, I will say that these past two chapters have more than doubled the page count from the webcomic.
Scenes are expanded (like Axel's animated panelling as he catches up to the Explosive Velocity Snail). Sadly, no major choreographic differences. The Explosive Snail scene got the biggest glow-up but otherwise nothing major- in fact I would say the impact is even reduced in a few panels if you want to super nitpick.
16.5 webcomic pages become 35 manga pages. This means it might take 2-3 years to catch up with the webcomic at this moment, ONE will need to release around 5-6 webcomic chapters per year to keep pace with the manga, otherwise we will likely get manga additions during the neo-heroes arc as I've speculated. I hope the 5 dragons and Drive Knight sub-arcs get seriously expanded
Expect translations to come on Friday/Saturday. I know the person who normally cleans the pages and she's not been available for the last two chapters, hence the delays in the official fan translation- that situation hasn't changed yet.

390kmph! That extra 90kmph makes a significant difference. That's 240 mph for any Americans in here.
I would say it's actually pretty slow; it's the same speed the monster had in the webcomic. I mean like, Sonic set the bar for demon-level speed by surpassing mach as a mid-demon in his debut. This demon's entire appeal is speed and he's slower than a drag car
Axel says he can easily catch up to 390kmph, so I would say he's at least 500 kmph (mach 0.4) on his roller skates but no more than 1,000 kmph (mach 0.9)

I used to pray for days like this. Shout out for Versus to get ONE to say this:
"When I draw manga, I have a concept in my head, assuming that it will be in my style. But when Azuma-sensei or Murata Yusuke-sensei (who is in charge of the illustrations for "One-Punch Man") are involved in the illustrations, I can imagine images that I can't do myself. For example, I can create cool action scenes and sexy characters, so I can ask for all sorts of unreasonable things."
What if ONE was the depraved one all along and he was forcing poor innocent Murata to create cover after cover of Fubuki in revealing dresses and swimwear?? The plot thickens...

I can't lie; it is pretty funny. I get why they are scaled that way, but it definitely is a little jarring at first.
Not bad; it's following the webcomic pretty closely. I'm kind of surprised Ryumon trash talking Pro Heroes is still here, though.

I'm a powerscaling conservative, I prefer consistency and OP is just a verse where 90% of the top tier feats are scaled around islands (which makes sense) and for people who don't follow calcs they're shocked to see what results Bajrang gun and such could yield. In my mind the verse ranges between mountain levels from the lower ranges (post-timeskip characters weaker than Yonko commanders) to country levels for the top tiers. I personally expect that the ancient weapons will be the absolute peak of the verse and I see them as continental, although I understand bumping everyone up a bit.
Our profiles + chainscaling for the verse are wild though- I don't know the verse well enough to participate in those convos though.
Yeah I'm a little worried with how little recent chapters have changed developments from the webcomic. The current manga stuff came out in 2020-2021, so it was already during the redraw ages. I guess ONE felt 90% solid on how he was going to handle the neo-heroes in the manga at that point and therefore doesn't want to alter much.

I really really hope we can get another OPM interview one day. It's been sooo long since we got a word of God statement on literally anything.
I would love to ask about many different match-ups. How durable is Flashy Flash really? Did Saitama take damage during the Garou fight after all? If the Dark Matter Generals have a 1% chance against Orochi with prep, how would they do against guys like Golden S?

I am a little worried too since a lot of Neo Heroes stuff, while good, feels a little half-baked if you divorce it from the various expansions the manga has made to the series.
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised. He was the one that intially approved Murata drawing a topless Blizzard/Fubuki for a volume extra after all (that extra was changed because Murata didn't want to get more requests for that type of art, or something like that).
That would be great.
It would be interesting to hear ONE's thoughts and see how his opinions have changed over the years.

Axel is a threefold hypocrite basically, and also really weak on top of that. Webcomic spoilers explain my full hatred for him at the bottom of this message.
The manga translation is far less harsh than I remember the webcomic tl, but in his intro when the Hero Association goes to recruit him- he slanders the s-class for losing to a single hero hunter.
...In that same conversation he clarifies that he and 53 other members of his Hunters group went up against a demon level monster and 5 of them died in that fight. He's not an awful person but he's incredibly unaware of where he stands in the world, and shows himself to be arrogant like many of the s-class were before the Monster Association arc humbled them.
Axel complains about the s-class being unable to deal with a god level threat, he needs a super-suit to engage a demon level monster without risking death. Axel complains about the Hero Association being corrupt (which is true) but then joins the Neo-Heroes who are literally, actually evil. He lectures TTM on being useless right before TTM saves his life from a threat he can't handle, his own mind-controlled minions. .

Reminder that we're going to get the five dragon fights in the manga in a month or two. Once those conclude, I recommend adding a whole Neo Hero mega CRT with new neo-leader profiles, 5 dragons profiles, several upgrades and more.

Here's an outline for what I plan on including in the Mega CRT. Let me know what I'm missing!
NEW NEO-LEADER PROFILES
(1) Blue = 2 keys,
(3) Raiden = 1 key, suitless mode (other modes will come in a CRT like a year later probably) based on his fight with PPP
(4) Axel = 2 keys, suitless mode and suited mode
(6) "A" = at least 8-B, likely higher upscaling from standard battle suits, higher with his scythe.
Zaedats and Infelsinave do not need profiles yet.
OTHER NEW PROFILES
(1) Suiko = 2 keys, base and drunken tiger fist
(3) Power Suits = at at least 8-B, upscaling from Great Philosopher
(4) Triple Tongue = at least 9-B, able to defeat Crescent Moon (I forget this guy's name)
(5) Shell King = a demon level, 7-C (upscaling from Lightning Genji/Electric catfish man)
(6) Machine God Mirror = at least 7-C upscaling from G-5 and G-4, likely higher. Energy blasts will be calced if they yield any interesting results.
(7) Heavy Smoker = at least 7-C (upscaling from TTM), likely higher. Hopefully get a calcable feat.

(4) Tanktop Master, maybe = depending on what happens in his fight with Heavy Smoker. Would it be possible to scale him inhaling the smoke? That crap was going to make the entire city toxic and he was going to breath it in.

That would be amazing Kachon! I think our first move is to calc five things... if any of them interest you, you could do one or two. I'm planning on doing explosive velocity snail today.
1. GENOS incinerating Forest King. How much energy would it take to turn wood of a building to ash?
2. GENOS generating a dust cloud. How much kinetic energy would he need to have to generate a dust cloud of this size?
3. SUIKO chopping the training dummy in half with a double spin punch. Should be more than baseline A-class (9-B)
4. Explosive Velocity Snail KE (probably building level but I will try it)
5. Axel's speed for catching up to Explosive Velocity Snail

The first two don't seem very impressive, especially for where Genos already scales currently via incineration cannons and boosted attacks (7-A), but I could still calc them for support.
I could do Suiko's feat some time today.
