Since the Honkai and the Imaginary Energy has been accepted in the previous thread, I want to propose for the Aeons and the Cocoon of Finality to be the source of the Abyss in Genshin Impact with Emanators having access to High-level Abyssal Energy Manipulation (to be more clear, Emanators should have the same proficiency as the Sinners and the rest like Stellarons, Chrysos Heirs, Coreflames are High-level Abyssal Energy Manipulation).
There are numerous instances to connect Genshin Impact to Honkaiverse, such as Vera's Melancholy where it refers to the 14 Valkyries on the Starry Sea and that Vera's Melancholy itself is stated somewhere during the 6.2 main event or Durin's story quest which should prove this is canon, the importance of the book is treated the same as Perinheri which was directly advised by Arlecchino to the Traveler to read in the Act 3 of Nod-Krai
The Sea of Stars in Genshin Impact is explained to be something beyond Teyvat and the Dark Sea entirely, containing the planets of those that Octavia visited, the Traveler's planet and Skirk and many more

Not to mention, Teyvat is acknowledged in Honkai: Star Rail albeit the names are distorted but the history is still intact, you could consider this as the work of History Fictionologists but the fact IPC is able to travel there other than the confirmations that Genshin is pretty much within Leaf Worlds should show us that they're inherently resistant to the Abyss given it was acknowledged everything outside of the False Sky is enveloped in Abyssal Energy. Also, the Traveler's Wind Glider is on the Herta Space Station as a relic anyway. Forbidden Knowledge which originates from the very bottom of the Abyss is also stated to be Black Tide in The Folio of Foliage, Forbidden Knowledge is explained as alien in comparison to Teyvat since Teyvat naturally rejects Forbidden Knowledge and it became catastrophic to the world in which we all know the likes of Ryusuke is able to wield the Alien Key against Welt in Sugar Space with Cocoon of Finality being stated as an alien civilization and not to mention Black Tides in HSR and Genshin Impact are the same, especially the False Sky part.
I believe all this are sufficient evidence that the Abyss should be related to Honkai or Imaginary Energy, although Honkai Energy and Imaginary Energy in the end are effectively the same thing regardless. As usual, for those who scales are Nanook and Xipe with the lesser ones being Emanators of Destruction, Chrysos Heirs, Coreflames and those who's able to wield the Stellaron.
This will be the minor revision after 6 pages long but it's more of like that CoF and Aeons aren't the source, they're still capable of manipulating it to the highest degree however — The Imaginary that makes up everything in Honkaiverse includes the Genshin Universe and the supporters, proved that the Dark Universe is just 1:1 of Sea of Quanta, given we don't need this to be stated directly as one if we accepted the primordial chaos to be the Sea of Quanta even if their terminology is differentiated anyway.
Oh yeah, Abyssal Energy will be an extension (subset) of Imaginary Energy instead of it being like Honkai Energy = Imaginary Energy altogether

Sea of Stars
The sea of stars[1][2] refer to the celestial expanse and worlds that exist beyond the planet of Teyvat and the Dark Sea, within the universe of Genshin Impact. A multitude of these worlds were explored by Octavia. Teyvat is the main setting of Genshin Impact and is described as a fantasy world...
