Episode 8, despite having the usual problems at a certain point, is decent and worth watching... Episode 9 has a maximum of 2 good scenes in the entire episode and is personally not worth my time since it only has 5/7 seconds of reasonably good animation and barely reaches a 6 - and if I have to be nice and I want to reward them for the almost total lack of colored filters, at most, maximum, maximum, maximum, 6 if you want to reward them for that thing and then there is this episode 10 instead, giving it 1½ for me is doing them a huge huge HUGE favor...Imo

This episode 10 proved that there is no end to the worst
so no, we need to get rid of Bandai Namco and its committee, which to call pitiful beyond anything is being soft, and the J.C staff who should go back to managing things more within their reach, certainly not stuff like OPM

For what it matters Iaian is one of my favorite characters, so now I have to live with the fact that his greatest moments that cement him as a very powerful grounded shounen type character in the wrong verse have not only fallen flat, but spilled over and rotten.
I watched the first two episodes with friends and when they, ignorant of OPM discourse and very casual viewers who had seen some or all of s1, quietly wondered what was so off about the animation, and by the end of Ep 2 I knew s3 was going to be a franchise-killer, even if the quality of animation recovered at that point.
RIP Iaian, Atomic, Garou
, literally every character this season except for Flashy Flash and Child Emperor (who did receive some animation it seems).

I do feel bad for the animators, because even if OPM doesn't continue after this season it's sad to see them get the harrassment and negativity for this.
Yes, the product is garbage. Yes, better content has been created on similarly horrible timeframes. No I'm not going to say that the quality isn't in large part due to the lower skill of the animators.
But still, they are people at the end of the day and as with any internet controversy they will get death threats from losers who want to kill anyone over the slightest inconvenience. Aoki in particular is a great animator who has done a lot for this community. He's been focused on another anime during S3 (another colossal staffing mistake by JC Staff/Bandai...) but we know that his work elevates whatever it touches, look at the difference between the Teaser he animated and episode 3 for example, lol.
I hope s3 doesn't damage this man's career. He, more than anyone else outside contracted people like Van Oba, cannot be blamed for the quality of the outcome.
