You should watch it. It's so bad that you can have a good time laughing at it. It's like watching Madame Web.

I will watch it all at once, only after people have stopped talking about on the daily. I want to judge the quality of the season for myself. If I watched it now I would have a harder time trying to enjoy it without thinking of specific repeated criticisms from others.

Also, it's funny because my friends and many channels that I follow that never talk about One Punch Man are talking about season 3 so even if I were to avoid this place I'm still seeing tons of content. S3 has certainly become a big cultural event in the worst way possible

Final design of Blue Dragon Genos (except for the shoulder patch thing)

Yes, we don't have profiles for anime, but is it possible to create them?
Uh to answer this, not really no. There isn't enough of a difference for us to create anime specific profiles, the characters are still almost identical power wise, with a few exceptions like Boros and Marugori. Then there's anime only Monster's like Pluton. And that also only applies to season 1 because the studio upscaled tons of feats or even made new ones outright. JC Staff just tries to make it identical to the manga, and they fail even at that in season 3 by cutting out tons of iconic scenes lmao.

And yeah the star level statement is known to be a mistranslation, the kanji for it is Hoshi which essentially refers to large celestial bodies. They clearly meant that CSRC can destroy a planet. Anime Boros can definitely be argued as planet level but again, I don't think it's realistic to make an anime specific profile for him because there's such little difference outside of the CSRC statements.

I am still baffled by amount of people out there who think Human Garou had a chance against Genos as if Genos didn't fight a High Dragon level monster right after it.

And I am baffled by how people think Sonic would have stomped Garou at the beginning of season 2.

Ok ok, I saw a few comments saying the fight was good and decided to check for myself and...

Wow, it was actually great, easily the best thing to come out of this season, Flash's fight was always one of the best in the manga for me and I'm glad it received an acceptable adaptation, nothing really helped any of us to believe it could be good, so this is an awesome surprise

If the rest of the fights keep at this level, then I'd say the season would be worth watching for the later fights alone

Holy shit! They actually didn’t ruin Flash’s fight?! Thank god. This was probably one of my favorite fights in the series. If they had actually ruined this I wouldn’t even know how pissed I would’ve been.

But they still kinda messed up the final fight by having the waterfall move when everything was supposed to be stagnate.

It's like the Megamind meme
J.C. staff worker: lo logrò señor!
Shinpei nagai: lo logrè?!
all viewers of opm s3: lo logrò...

Well it seems like you all hated episode 8 less than the others. Episode 9 is one of the two episodes that the production team was hyping up.

Suppose you thought episode 8 wasn't so bad, maybe you'll find episode to be decent actually. In any case they also hyped episode 5 but people were upset with that one so I don't know.

No clue why you guys hype it up so much, it's better than the complete garbage we were getting but it's still plagued with issues. They tried their best and I can see the vision of a good rendition of this fight but the movements noticeably lack fluidity, there are weird cuts and several shots were the characters are off-model not to mention that the pacing of the fight itself is off.

Ball of optimism that I am, I recognize that the fandom is pretty upset about the state of the anime and the lingering memory of redraw hell but I'd like to take a moment to note that we're moving into what could be the biggest arc in the series yet- yes, potentially bigger than the Monster Association Arc. That's cause for discussion narratively and in VSBW terms.

Narratively, I want to point out that Garou vs Bang+Bomb+Genos starts the MA arc roughly around chapter 55 of the Webcomic while Garou flees from the MA ruins in chapter 94, that's 39 chapters in the WC which exploded out into 85 chapters in the manga (chapter 84 EC fight --> Garou disappears in chapter 169). If we say the events of last chapter, showing the Neo-leader reactions to the Amai Mask fall-out, constitute chapter 1 of the Neo/Organization arc, that means that the arc is already 33 WC chapters long.

While I don't think ONE will expand the Neo arc to the extent that he did the Manga MA arc, I do think that we could see the total chapter count almost double-- unless ONE wants the manga to catch up with the Webcomic in the next couple years. I'm rambling about the scale of the arc because we need to start thinking about the following 30+ characters...

THE NEO LEADERS
1. Blue
2. Webigaza
3. Raiden
4. Accel (we hate him)
5. Ryumon
6. "A"
7. Zaedats (lol)
8. Infelsinave (lol)
9. Mars Leo / Solitude (just need one really)

OTHER HEROES
1. Suiko
2. Forte (does Forte not have a profile??? This chad deserves one! He's a pretty important character at this point)
3. Butterfly DX
4. THE GREAT DEGENERATE (possibly the greatest hero name ever)
5. Dr. Grumpy Pervert
6. Drunkard
7. Toupee Warrior
8. Red Nose
9. Mad Devil Yankee (on account of the hero gambling chapter we got a while back)
10. Air (the first person to be cyberized on screen, will be relevant throughout the arc)

THE ORGANIZATION
1. Erimin
2. Destro
3. Fuzzy (when he appears)
???. FIVE HUNDRED MILLION KAJILLION MACHINE GODS

THE FIVE DRAGONS (Other monsters)
1. Machine God 6/Machine God Mirror
2. Heavy Smoker
3. Aggregation
4. Extended Family of Darkness
5. Eel Dragon
6. Shell King (demon)
7. Turbo Snail (demon)
???? Other demons that have no name in the webcomic but probably will in the manga, like that monster that killed Zaedats.

(MORE INFORMATION IN THE NEXT POST I KNOW HALF OF Y'ALL DIDN"T READ ALL OF THAT)

Why list out all thirty characters and talk about chapter length? Because there are a lot of new exciting characters who will change the shape of the verse and because the arc is so huge, it will be literal years before we can finalize the profiles for 99% of the above characters.

I suggest that we wait until the manga adapts the events of chapter 129... when Saitama one-punches Machine God G-6/Mirror before we do ANY CRTs with this huge character roster.

That's because we have no idea how strong any of the neos are until the 5 dragons arc reveals that: Infelsinave and Zaedats are jokes, Accel can handle demon-class monsters with some effort, Blue needs a named move while in base to one-shot demons like Shell King, and Webigaza and Raiden can demolish demon-level monsters without their suits, and Blue struggles with dragon level monsters. That will allow us to give definitive rankings to (A) most neo-heroes, (B) most leftover HA heroes, (C) the five dragons and co.

We also get major scaling updates on Genos, Tanktop Master, and Flashy Flash (if he gets the new techniques?).

Alternatively, we could wait until the manga adapts the events of chapter 136... when PPP fights Raiden.

This would allow us to definitively scale Raiden to PPP, "A" below Sonic, Suiryu and Job-Hunter Garou, Mars Leo and Solitude to base Metal Bat, etc. All of those fights happen in a seven chapter timeframe, scaling most of the still-ambiguous neos to characters with established profiles.

Speaking of which, the cyberized Mars Leo + Solitude fight against base Metal Bat may give us an excellent way to scale the neo-hero suits to the manga, assuming Mars Leo and Solitude aren't over the power threshold where they'd be above baseline controlled suits.

The addition of the Neo-Heroes has the potential to change the scaling landscape of the entire series and will require changing the verse page and probably several new calculations, so I want there to be a big CRT ASAP so we can have lots of input from everyone without putting off the changes for too long.

There are a lot of profiles that have to be removed first since they serve no use for our scaling chains or are for irrelevant characters

My proposals for removal are:
Rosie (Who tf is Rosie, this is just a random minor character with like 2 lines of dialogue)
Narcisstoic (Irrelevant character, literally just has Superhuman Physical Characteristics)
Gigakigan (Irrelevant, appeared in a bonus chapter and got killed)
Himiko Natsuno
Daichi Oogami
Genoboyle
These three are allegedly in the same universe as OPM but I haven't seen anything confirm it and their one shots didn't result in serialization, maybe the profiles shouldn't be removed but they shouldn't be in the OPM verse page
Unihorn (Irrelevant and haxless)
170k Year Old Cicada (9-A Demon level that doesn't do anything for the scaling)

I agree that these should be removed, but you should copy this post and paste it here so it can actually be done

Will the speed be reduced because 3 light lines are created but there is no division by 3 in the calculation?

You know I realized MHA and OPM can be set in same world and the lore would work seamlessly with only a few additions
