Accepted Calculation:

Problems:

1. This calculation violates KE standards. Because with such a large amount of energy, all the trees in front of Ohma should have been completely shattered. But we see that the two trees in front of Ohma were not shattered, only knocked down.

2. The mountain's height cannot be used as a reference because the mountain is behind the dust cloud, which inflates the result.

Conclusion:

All characters that are 7-C should be changed to 8-A.

Hmm - that does seem to be a lot less visible destruction than what the calc would suggest, yeah.

The problem is that the two trees in front of him weren’t completely shattered, they were only knocked down.
Yeah but somehow trees which wouldn't even be in the direction of the demonbreaker got shattered as a side affect

The width of the shockwave was found to be 5.89225 m. Therefore, the two trees that were actually not knocked down are in the direction of Demonbreaker, and they were not shattered, only toppled.
I feel like this is nitpicking? I mean the trees in the area were still destroyed.
You're ignoring the two trees that are not completely shattered, only knocked over.

Also, I just noticed. The mountain's height cannot be used as a reference because the mountain is behind the dust cloud, which inflates the result.

I'm not ignoring it, I just don't think its very relevant considering they were still "destroyed" in a general sense. Like Jason_Courne mentioned, there was still widespread destruction, so focusing on the fact that 2 trees were knocked down instead of shattered is nitpicking imo.

This is true.

As I said, with such a huge amount of energy, the shockwave should have completely shattered all the trees in front of it. However, we see trees that are not shattered, only knocked down, so the calculation is invalid.

I have no horse in this race so I'll drop it here, but I definitely don't think its as disqualifying as you seem to believe. However if CGMs agree with the OP then fair enough.

Is there going to be a replacement calc or is the feat just getting dropped completely

In principle, I agree with the thread.
Scaling from the mountain makes sense; dust doesn't interfere with it at all.
And I'm sure there's destruction beyond the line of sight. But they just didn't show it to us. It looks like Gin's beloved calculations will be a thing of the past forever.

This is unrelated to the OP, but why is the tiering and scaling of a lot characters here so out of wack? You have dudes that severely injured each other and they can remain 2 tiers apart from one another at the same time.

As the OP mentioned, using mountain height is also an issue.

I think there's enough votes for this to go ahead.

Kengan verse is super outdated lol.

And there's a really weird balance in Kengan. We have Kaneda, who is physically the weakest fighter in Kengan, and we have Wakatsuki, who is physically the strongest, and his simple punches can knock out even mid-high tiers. You know what connects these two? ******* Hatsumi Sen.
