Anyway, I'm sure some of you noticed the changes made to the pacing of the fight compared to the webcomic so let's talk about them a little...

Sweet Mask turns to the civilians and asks if they are okay BEFORE killing Pesky Clown and then its followed by this new panel of him feeling his consciousness slip away to monsterization

I think the set up here is clear, Sweet Mask's mind is going to be taken over by monsterization bloodlust and take it out on Pesky Clown which pairs well with how brutal the fight ends up being in the WC.

I like this change, it's a proper payoff to him mentioning how he is feeling monsterization take over his mind both in the manga and webcomic which is something that irks me a little because in the webcomic it seems this aspect of his monsterization was removed as Sweet Mask just shapeshifts willy-nilly without any effect on his psyche.

Here the manga also benefits by having prior scenes showing how much monsterization is messing up his morals like against the Mercs or the S Class Heroes in the surface. This struggle even being noticed and mentioned by Iaian not too many chapters ago.

Now the question is, does that mean those urges will try to turn him onto the civilians? Maybe! Either way I'm very excited for the next chapter because at the very least we are getting a very gory fight.

Pesky clown isn’t dead

"👊 Tatsumaki the Terror (voiced by Aoi Yuki) is
an esper who uses supernatural powers to defeat monsters. She is essentially one of the strongest fighters in the Hero Association. Her small body contains boundless power."

Tier 0 confirmed:eek:
You guys didn't know?
That's why she uses TK for everything and is always flying. If she touches the ground the earth explodes.

Strong art and comp but the movement is chopped. You can even see how stiff Garou's walk is.

So by my estimates expect Sakamoto Days season 1 level of quality

Let me just burst that bubble. If the first episode doesn't show that quality, forget it. The first one is the one with most polish and time.

Even with shows that do get trouble most of the time still have decent first episode. Hell Sakamoto was looking real good up until the Boiled fight and then it started to show it's problems.

It's not diesel to save for later. The first episode is the viewer hook.

Also on th episode itself the ending was weird. Tripping balls weird.

The bird announced that Bang survived and Elder Centipede died, then we see Royal Ripper and I forgot the other guy and Garou is already out.

Mid conversation he just teleported.
