Yeah, but what is that exactly ?

Im currently gathering what I can about Kimyo(types and modes) and their power seem related to their soul and lifeforce.

Chapter 24: Thatanos talked about absorbing energy(soul) to empower or sustain himself and called his brothers "lifeforces" while the nature of his power is different(death).

I'm caught up on Ordeal but a lot of details elude my memory due to the writing quality and probably me not being invested enough, but I've been on it weekly since season 2

Not the first time we've had animated teasers for webtoons, but afaik it's not in the line of series planned to receive full-fledged animated adaptations

When was the last time the profiles were updated? They seem outdated, and the Che vs Jose fight seemed to push the top and god tiers far above the 6-B range with Che getting insane lifting strength too

I was thinking more Tier 4 based on Jose/the author emphasizing and repeatedly stating the weight and power of dying stars, Jose saying he has the power to lay waste to the cosmos, and, Jose saying he can create a cosmic dimension in the wake of the destruction he brings, and Ilios saying Jose has enough chi to fill an entire void

With Kevin being able to push apart Neutron stars etc. I think the strongest characters are supposed to be hitting that stellar tier

Which is consistent with someone as ‘weak’ as Ryu who’s just a Titan general and not a god tier or Gakki being able to create a small planet level black hole

Given how the stars portrayed in the fight seem more like sticky bombs than actual stars, I'd be more inclined to say the Kevin feat is more representative, albeit one Che doesn't scale to yet

The black hole also didn't really function like a real one, seeing as it created shockwaves and cut through buildings

Jose's statements don't have any amount of scale in display to really back them up, sure we can try and use the mass statement, this wouldn't give AP just LS, you could also use KE for Che's sun attack since it has a stated speed of 100m/s or something? Subsonic I think the ke was city block or there about

Kevin at said point is pretty much an outlier, his feats are definitely in the Tier 4 range and I think Class Y LS? I don't remember
Thing that bugs me is speed, while enraged and wanting to meet Leo ASAP he was only moving at the SoL but to have performed the feat he did earlier in the timeframe he did wouldn't he have had to be much faster than that unless I'm not remembering the details well

The properties of it don't qualify it as a legitimate blackhole iirc, it's wasn't even a mass creation thing was it

Shouldn’t Che be stronger than Kevin by a decent amount though? They said Kevin only reached Rank 1 because Leo died, and Che at this point far surpassed Leo. It’s implied Levin hasn’t gotten stronger as he’s been on the moon in a meditative state for 20 years after failing to get his talent’s equivalent of the ‘War State’ and destroying his own body. You’d think being made of pure light and chi would be an amp but the series treats it as a failure of containing your power.

In terms of raw stats (not skill), Che from the Greenland Arc after his 1 month training Arc should be in the same general tier as Leo, especially after entering war state and having his flames stated to be hotter than Leo’s by his son.

And then Che post training arc should be ridiculously above Leo and Kevin with the anointed war state

Though I just read through the series, idk anything about Q&A’s, author statements or anything

You can’t really show Star busting DC on a series that takes place on Earth or the story is done. Which is probably why the author had Jose and Ilios make statements on his power both aloud and in their own minds. And it’s consistent enough with a far weaker character who isn’t scratching god tier having a Small Planet+ feat (accepted on the wiki), and Kevin who should be weaker than Che having the Neutron Stars feat
