Oh it's a bit more complicated than that, Murata was clear about his distaste for Sweet Mask during his streams and later warmed up to him when his arc was completed in the webcomic
Some time later this is extrapolated by the mongrels who think Murata writes the manga into him rewriting the story to humilliate him and this lie is the one that is repeated ad nauseum

Great chapter, wish it was longer though.
I'm curious about the decision to shorten the monologue though I do think it fits better that Sweet Mask transforms instinctively to save other people in the very moment as in the webcomic it was also an instinctual response which he wanted to revert but I do believe the rest of that monologue should come back once his mind catches up to what he has done.

not really , from now on OPM will probably get a season every 1-2 years, previous seasons took long because there wasn't enough material (physical volumes out) to animate, even when S3 had enough in volumes they waited till the MA arc is finished to announce it, now there is like 3-4 seasons of content in term of physical volumes to animate , S3 will cover until chapter 112 while the volumes already have chapters probably till 175~178 or wherever volume 35 stops
