7-C Iceman

High 7-C Makima

Both are bloodlusted

Makima has prior knowledge of Iceman's status as an Omega-level Mutant.

Speed Equalized

The Control Devil:
GunshyFever

The X-Man: Catbowtie

Incon: Rex_Eckles

I'm concerned if this is a one-shot type of thing or not. What 7-C value does Ice-Man scale to exactly?
I don't even know.
Hell, his 8-A calc is so damn old, it's on web archives that is hosting NarutoForums. ☠️

Not sure if the value matters much anways because Iceman has high regen.

Not at all. Makima doesn't know what mutants are or what "omega-level" means. Best information Makima could get from that is that Ice-man is notable from whenever he comes from, but Makima Conquest diffs.

I question why the OP would specify that if they didn't intend it to mean Makima knows how strong Ice-man is.

Just change it to "Makima knows that Ice-Man is one of the strongest mutants."
This doesn't help because she doesn't know what a mutant is 😭

They probably intended this result, but it didn't happen because of the information Makima is receiving isn't enough to make her think she's not immediately superior to Ice-man.

Fine, change it to "Makima knows the exact joule output that Ice-Man can output/survive".

I know nothing about Ice-man. His profile is bare bones. Omni-presence is weird. It's listed as multi-location. That negates a lot of what Makima can do. Aki's Death Manipulation can kill Ice-man, but that'd require someone to get close to Ice-man and well...She has literal hundreds of 9-A jobbers to distract Ice-man, but like, again, couldn't work without literally anyone who tries getting pasted. Angel's Life Absorption might work, but that would require Angel or Makima to hold onto Ice-man for an unknown period of time, which won't work, probably.

The fight would most likely end up as a long one. I think Makima just wins this off of Stamina. If Ice-man had Infinite Stamina, he'd just win off of killing Makima millions of times over, or completely freezing Makima over, but since he has like a 5 hour limit, Makima just whittles down Ice-man until he's unable to fight.

At first thought, I believe Makima would win and this seems to be a stomp matchup.

Makima has multiple ways to escape being frozen solid, assuming this occurs via ice-based abilities. She could rely on an intangible devil to noclip her out, such as Beam or Princi, or have the ice thawed by the Flamethrower Hybrid. Makima's win cons stem from her 17x reaction speed advantage combined with automatic precognition, allowing her to easily evade initial attacks and deploy minions, whether Hybrids or Zombies, to absorb environmental damage close quarters wise. Plus, her telekinesis could effectively damage Iceman by blowing holes into him. She could also remove him from the battlefield using the Hell Devil summon or seal him with the Snake Devil, among several other wincons enlisted in her controlled abilities.

I don't believe this matchup is valid because Iceman doesn't realistically have a win con. It's important to note that if Makima manages to fatally injure Iceman even once initially, she will view him as inferior, triggering her Conquest ability. A single severe injury is all that's required.

The starting distance follows SBA, meaning they begin 4 km apart. Given this, Makima's typical battle tactic would be to deploy her minions, stay hidden, observe the opponent, gather information through clairvoyance and strategically plan her moves. Overall, this matchup feels quite random and not particularly engaging to me. Not my cup of tea, I will observe and correct if needed though.

Ice-Man has planetary range and has omni-presence via literally being every single water molecule. Makima isn't safe unless she goes to a different dimension.

The question is though, how does Ice-Man's Atomic Destruction work? Can Ice-Man just will Makima's water molecules to be destroyed and kill her that way? Or what?

I'm pretty sure Icemans AZ would bypass Makima's regen since AZ is atomic destruction and her regen is only mid-high.
It's a common misconception that I fail to point out in versus matchups. However, Makima never actually uses regeneration in the conventional sense. Her "regen" comes from being a devil and consuming blood, which at best qualifies as Low-Mid via standard devil recovery.

What’s actually at play here is Makima’s contract, which involves law manipulation. This ability doesn’t regenerate her body directly, instead, it redirects damage inflicted upon her, converting it into corresponding illnesses or accidents that affect Japanese citizens. This process restores her to her original state through law manipulation.

It's not regeneration, it's damage transference and the two are fundamentally different in function. At best, her opponent may not be able to negate this recovery entirely, but they can slow it down.

That depends on how he's demonstrated the use of this ability. Still, it sounds incredibly threatening to Makima.

With a blood-lusted Ice-man, really anything he can do is on the table in this fight. He can freeze Makima solid, kill her by removing her atoms (I think this will bypass her contract), negate literally any physical action she can do by controlling her blood, unironically Stomp any Controlled Devil by messing with their molecules.

I think Makima loses here. The sheer amount of things Ice-man can do, and the amount of stuff he can ignore is nuts. Maybe BFR will work, but it depends on how BFR to Hell interacts with Ice-man's Omni-presence. Makima's only two win conditions is stabbing Ice-man three times with Aki's sword, or waiting until Ice-man tires.

He can shoot AZ beams or AZ you with a touch. I don't think he's ever like Doctor Manhattan style hand gestured at somebody and AZ'd them, but it does seem to essentially just be him using his normal Ice Powers while trying harder.

Oh, then Makima wins. Ice-man ain't never hitting Makima when she has Precog and is liable to teleport to another dimension at any time.

It would pretty much be. Auto Precognition tells Makima whatever Ice-Man will do and she will gtfo away from it. Anything outside of Ice-Man literally spawning the attack on Makima will not work.
