Are punishment (warning, mute, ban, etc) trackers publicly visible to the community or privately visible to staff? I know about warning trackers being visible to the community, not sure about the mute or ban trackers though... (I haven't seen links for those so yeah.)
Mostly curious cause, since there's both bans due to actual misconduct and breaches of rules and user-requested bans, I wanted to ask how those two bans are differentiated in the trackers as well as whether the public/community is informed in said trackers as to whether the ban was requested or due to actual misconduct/rule breaches.
(Also cause I notice there's no indication of staff retirement being due to general inactivity, self-request or misconduct/rule breaches from them in the VSBW Staff page, not sure if there's separate trackers for them or if they share the same trackers as general community members and whether said trackers are thus also publicly visible to the community or private to staff.)

To add to this (and please don't respond further, unnecessary clutter to the RVRT, etc etc), the warning tracker is an impromptu solution we have. It is publicly visible and can be found here. Because it relies on individual staff members updating it manually, it is desperately out of date, but it does give us background information for those cases that do get added.

This is extremely similar to the recent case, so my opinion is the same:
Calling another member a slur probably warrants at least a 1 month ban for toxicity and/or bypassing the filter.
Anticipating objection: Yes, I know black people sometimes use it without any malice intended. However, it's extremely common knowledge that you can't use slurs at all on most platforms with general audiences. The fact that they bypassed the filter shows they knew we didn't allow it and went out of their way to type it anyway. If they were genuinely racist I would vote for even longer, but I doubt it- and think 1 month is simply the proper level of harsh but fair to properly discourage the use of slurs as heavily as we should.
Ideally, whoever applies a punishment should simply update it when they do, which is what I've been doing for warnings I give myself, for example.Yes. Continuous help from our staff members with updating it is extremely appreciated.

A translator mod asked for a raw scans of a page here. They then took the scans and posted in the translation thread. Which is fine.
However, the are asking an extremely leading question. Nowhere my original page or any pages did we say the scans use the word concept or dimensionally. This extremely dishonest behavior.

I do not remember this user or how or why they were banned.
Though, actually, I double checked reasons, but neutral overall. His ban lasted 10 and a half months already, so it's not too far away relative to how long.

Nowhere in my post will you find me mentioning the “concept of dimensionality”. First, I asked if they were talking about the concept of space time (as I’m under the impression you have to transcend those and not just “space and time” for it to qualify as higher than Low 1-C).
I also asked if the wording of the transcending is meant to mean in reference dimensionally, vs something like just being vastly stronger than, above, or having complete control over. I did not mean for this to be a leading question, nor for it to mean me asking if it transcends dimensionality, sorry if my wording was confusing.
However, what I will absolutely admit fault for was putting the translation request immediately after you graciously posted the raws, which you did mention were hard to obtain. In hindsight, it comes off as almost antagonistic and impatient, and I probably should’ve mentioned something in the thread prior to doing so. For that, I am sorry.

Yeah, again that’s my bad. I swear I did not think you or anybody involved had any sort of malicious intent; I just knew that often, transcend specifically is a finicky word in Japanese, and I became skeptical of it (probably because of Dragon Ball lol). Anyway, probably best to put this behind us.

Reporting @ARCH0207 for continued pestering of me despite my direct statements that I do not wish to speak to them over the course of months. There's been many other instances of me stating that I don't want to be contacted by them. It is a simple and easily fulfilled request. However, at times, my wiki duties lead me to interfacing with some thread or another where ARCH has made a proposal, and every time, in spite of my instructions and clearly laid out wish to not be contacted further, it is met with more requests, more reaching out. I have said for the past few times that I would report him if it continued, and since those warnings were not fulfilled, I feel forced to finally actually do it.
I do not want to drag this out, I just want to do my thing on the wiki without wasting time. A warning in an official capacity can suffice.

By the way, I was told that I have a pending report to resolve.
Ant told me that if Echitesu was an active troll, then in addition to permanently banning Echitesu's account, a less lenient ban would be applied to NousGalia's account, but I feel that what I consider to be trolling and an active target against my verse may not be seen that way by others (although creating an alt just to disagree and act like a troll gives me a lot to think about, smh).
Anyway, the current result would be to permanently ban @Echitesu's account and @NousGalia's account for 3 months, tho it seems that they simply left the site based on the date of their last connection after being exposed.
So, if no one disagrees, I think it would be appropriate for me to apply the ban. Do you have anything to say?
