Maybe but I wouldn't bet on it. Given how Mizu is TU1 the power ceiling Wilds seems to want is that of Apex monsters. Elder Dragons likely won't be around till the expansion. So basically get ready for a massive expansion later?

Discounting Gore?Maybe but I wouldn't bet on it. Given how Mizu is TU1 the power ceiling Wilds seems to want is that of Apex monsters. Elder Dragons likely won't be around till the expansion.
We have Gore at apex level.Discounting Gore?
I mean technically yes but he is an Elder Dragon and he does consistently beat the crap out of Apex Monsters, stomping Goss Harag and Seregios in physical brawls in Rise and outright one-shotting a Tigrex in 4U's Title Screen Cutscene. We have Gore at apex level.
Gore's classification is always ???. I know it does turn into one but it isn't classified as one as of yet. And yes he does typically beat Apex monsters but that is just a higher degree of apex level.I mean technically yes but he is an Elder Dragon and he does consistently beat the crap out of Apex Monsters, stomping Goss Harag and Seregios in physical brawls in Rise and outright one-shotting a Tigrex in 4U's Title Screen Cutscene.
Yeah,Gore has usually been kept away from the "regular" elders or the Rajang/Deviljho/Bazel invader group,at least so far.Gore's classification is always ???. Ignoring where he shows up in gameplay in games like Sunbreak and specifically GU and things like his sunbreak version having more threat stars than Shagura,he's probably low end elder until he's given either a turf war or a cutscene to compare him with the stronger monsters.Where do you all think Chaotic Gore sits? Closer to Apex Tier or at least Low-End Elder Dragon like Kirin given he's like half Shagaru?
Fair enough. He's at the very least stronger than Gore for obvious reasons.Ignoring where he shows up in gameplay in games like Sunbreak and specifically GU and things like his sunbreak version having more threat stars than Shagura,he's probably low end elder until he's given either a turf war or a cutscene to compare him with the stronger monsters.
I mean it shares a profile with Gore and Shagaru already so might as well just revamp all of them. Pretty sure someone earlier in the thread already has a sandbox with updates on it.For a future Chaotic profile revamp, should we add to its weakness that "its in a constantly berserk state due to the unbearable pain its in + body slowly destroying itself"?
Also yeah, definitely low tier elder at least
....wat?Gore's Classification is officially now Demi Elder.
....wat?
It popped up
What- Why didn't the spoiler tag pop up?
I suppose it just has to do with recent lore from Sunbreak. It popped up
The information just perplexed me
I can get behind that. What I more so meant by my post though was "Screw your anti-power scaling BS now check this shit out - The Hunters who are literally getting into physical grappling matches with Monsters several fold their size and yeeting them backwards".Personally, and this is my Headcanon, I think the armor and weapons do help but they're also a net physical boost
Remember how the Spirit Slash attacks from Longsword (and presumably all kinds of other charge weapons) are Ki based, and Safi'jiiva's abilities are directly compared to the human ability to shape the environment?
What if those two things are one in the same, and humans are more literally capable of manipulating bioenergy through weapons, amplifying the materials and themselves to be much more powerful while drawing from their innate attributes for elemental attacks?
No substantiation but I've personally found it a really cool idea which justifies the fact there's no level ups beyond getting better gear
Pretty easily in the same ballpark as most of our prior monsters with one two exceptions, one who might have a nice calc worthy feat and another who's massively above everyone else that's a gargantuan spoiler. So how's the scaling for the new monsters?
What does monster scaling look like btw? (I don't know anything about this verse)Pretty easily in the same ballpark as most of our prior monsters
Small Monsters are 9-B to possibly 9-A depending on how you calc certain feats, the next tier of monsters are monsters like Great Jaggi or Great Girros who some of the smallest Large Monsters that stomp Small Monsters but get their ass kicked by anything in the High 8-C range like Barroth. Barroth is our benchmark for the low-tiers as it has the High 8-C feat that set the bar in the first place but it gets stomped by the Apex Tier Large Monsters like Diablos (who one-shot it in a cutscene), Rathalos (can fight Diablos and Lagiacrus on even terms in cutscenes) and Lagiacrus (who actually has a feat that's like triple that of Barroth's value). Then there's this weird spot just above the Apex Tier that's not totally out of their ballpark which seems to be occupied by three Monsters as far as I can tell, that being Gore Magala (who physically ragdolls Monsters on par with Rathalos at the minimum or is shown one-shotting them in cutscenes), Jin Dahaad (a new Monster that's portrayed as a sort of raid boss-esque monster in Wilds) and Arkveld (who is similarly shown to overpower Apex Tier Monsters fairly consistently). Next is Kirin, the weakest Elder Dragon in the series but an Elder Dragon nonetheless who can create thunderstorms which put it in Low 7-B and just above that are the Deviant Monsters like Hellblade Glavenus who can reduce mountains to cinders but since that should be impossible we just calculated it at 7-B for Violent Frag. Next we have a massive jump in power for more bog standard Elder Dragons at High 6-C for Kushala Daora casually dispersing massive storms very rapidly. There are some other Large Monsters who scale to these guys too like Deviljho, Rajang, Espinas, Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian. Next is another tier jump to Low 6-B for both Dalamadur being stated to be able to shake the world as well as Zorah Magdaros who's death in Everstream would have scorched the New World entirely if it wasn't redirected to the ocean. Above them we have Xeno'jiiva for not only absorbing Zorah's energy but also the energy of countless Elder Dragons over the course of fifty+ years and actively weaponizes that energy to fight with. Above Xeno'jiiva is Shara Ishvalda and Ruiner Nergigante who scale to a stronger version of the Hunter who killed Xeno'jiiva. And finally we get to our God Tiers, that being the Dangerous First Class Monsters or Black Dragons as most people call them, the strongest Monsters in the series bar none. This would include Fatalis, Alatreon, Safi'jiiva, Disufiroa, Dire Miralis and Merphistophelin who have multiple statements that place them magnitudes above everyone else, including world ending statements, but don't have any direct feats to show for it since they get killed by the player characters pretty much as soon as they show up.What does monster scaling look like btw? I don't know about Ajarakan since they get stomped by Nu Udra in its intro cutscene and their in-game Turf War but Nu Udra, Uth Duna and Rey Dau are easily Apex Tier. Hell, Uth Duna has a Turf War with Rathalos in the game where it can't do much against it in range but as soon as things got physical it was overpowering Rathalos, albeit not to a stomp degree. To be fair, I'm more interested on the scaling of Guardians and Xu Wu but thanks for the detail
I think Nu Udra, Uth Duna, and Ajarkan should be on Apex tier (and likely below Arkveld), right?
Oh right, I remember that turf war between Anjarakan and Nu Udra, yeah the former got demolished so bad thereI don't know about Ajarakan since they get stomped by Nu Udra in its intro cutscene and their in-game Turf War but Nu Udra, Uth Duna and Rey Dau are easily Apex Tier. Don’t know about the other Guardians but Xu Wu wins its turf war against Guardian Ebony, the only hit Ebony does is blasting off Xu Wu when it tried to eat it but afterward Xu Wu yanks it down with a tentacle, stabs it multiple times and slams it on the ground. How about the Guardians and Xu Wu?
It stomps every other guardian it fights,it makes fulgur topple with a single stab and grounds Rathalos with two, they don't get a single hit in,and they have to struggle to break out of his Grip,Xu Wu strong.Don’t know about the other Guardians but Xu Wu wins its turf war against Guardian Ebony, the only hit Ebony does is blasting off Xu Wu when it tried to eat it but afterward Xu Wu yanks it down with a tentacle, stabs it multiple times and slams it on the ground.
How's this coming along btw? I really wanna use them in VS Threads.
Been busy with Wilds and other games but from looking at it again, I don’t think I’m really missing anything too notable and thus could probably update them soon after their accepted in a CRT on them and their additions. How's this coming along btw? I really wanna use them in VS Threads.
Only thing I think might be missing is the lack of the amps being mentioned in Gore/Shagaru's other stats.Been busy with Wilds and other games but from looking at it again, I don’t think I’m really missing anything too notable and thus could probably update them soon after their accepted in a CRT on them and their additions.
Added, I believe that’s just about it.Only thing I think might be missing is the lack of the amps being mentioned in Gore/Shagaru's other stats.
Neat. So, now it's just a matter of making the CRT, right?Added, I believe that’s just about it.
