STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Looks like Murata is taking a break again, which means we won’t get a chapter until January 9.

Scratch that, there’s still one chapter left before he takes a break.

I can't show the end of 2023 since it get thanos snap from existence but should be same after releasing 2 chapters in December
 
List of every L Blast has taken (so far):

  • His best friend, Void, never even trusted him.
  • Despite being one of the first and most powerful heroes, he couldn't even fully kill Elder Centipede.
  • His wife, Luna, was just a part of Void's plan to investigate him.
  • Had a child with his spy wife. Still just a part of the plan.
  • His wife died.
  • His (perceived) best friend died.
  • He's an absent father.
  • Doesn't even protect the Earth anymore.
  • Trained for 15 years, yet still can't do anything but spam the same 3 techniques. Including the same "Dimensional Cannon" he had 15 years ago.
  • Couldn't save the Earth from a single God Avatar who hadn't even gained the full potential of his power (Garou).
  • Literally created Cosmic Empty Void (Another threat to the Earth), because he wasn't paying attention.
  • Pulls a "Nah, I'd win" against Empty Void. Immediately gets stomped and has his arm is sliced off.
  • Pretty much loses his only other useful technique (teleportation).
  • Literally would've died (for a second time) if Saitama didn't save him.
  • Uses his "final move" to try and merge with Void - literally wanting to commit suicide, and prioritizing Void's life over his own. It fails. Instead, he simply gets to see the memories of Void, learning of how many Ls he has truly taken in life.
  • Claimed to be able to manipulate reality and warp space-time, yet still hasn't shown any time warping abilities. His only showcase of durability negation got retconned.

I gotta be real, Blast fans... it hasn't been a good run. I really hope they give him SOMETHING. PLEASE. CAN HE JUST TAKE A SINGLE W?

Not really, There is still spatial durability negation. one L down, 14 remains.

Prove it's durability negation.

Unfortunately, you literally can't. Because it could just be the result of a strong attack vaporizing the enemy's body.

So it can't even be indexed this way.

It is a ******* black hole of attack, plus this subordinate of God is as powerful as Void, which is equal to Blast.

Force transfer could literally mean anything.

Force is just the energy applied to another object, usually resulting in movement in some form.

"The way his arm disappears" could literally just be the result of a powerful energy beam. If someone gets incinerated by an energy beam in the same way you would not just assume dura neg. It just means it's powerful enough to instantly vaporize someone like that.

Your argument just boils down to "it looks like dura neg"

Even using the most simple definition, Force Transfer boils down to "Energy Transfer"

You know what else transfers energy? Literally everything.

the word used there is 強制. which means "forced to do, doing it against someone's will" etc etc here. not remotely close to word "force" in terms of energy.

転送 means transfer. I don't see how it can mean something else.

Blast was trying to send him to another dimension, which suits to the context as well. Blast says let me transfer you, Garou says no, Blast forcibly tries. first uses dimension cannon, then normal portals.

aha but the difference is that this is clearly something more...forced, and not how everything works (like air, air exists everywhere in the universe, but if you force air...will you get full of it and explode)

The webcomic version has barely any appearances but that version has much more aura compared to the manga Blast just by being absent. He is powerful but he didn't really live up to all the mystery in my opinion. I remember how excited I was during chapter 139 though.
