I just looked at episode 36 again and I realized something, when the other Bambis come in, Meni and Candice are in the psuedo-vollstandig state that I pointed out earlier, but Bambi isn't. I think it might be because Giselle is using more power to keep them alive. From what we saw in that brief post-credits fight, they weren't superior to Bambi, of anything they were relative despite being boosted. I think that they might end up dying to fit the events of CFYOW when Mayuri found them dead.

That's just a theory, a Bleach theory

I think some people were saying that Giselle was using Munchy Munchy Babies on Candice and Meninas.

Some of these people even call Toshiro transcendant level or say CFYOW Zaraki isn't. These are the people I wanted to avoid because they make the most ridiculous excuses and interpretations.
 
Sooo, would there be scaling problems if senior captains like Yamamoto, Unohana, Kyoraku and Ukitake had unchanging AP across the whole series?
 
Biggest issue i could see is Kyoraku saying SS Chad's suicide/power of friendship attack could have seriously harmed him.

But even that could be explained in many ways :
-Chad's attack was amped beyond reasons via emotions (same as Ginjo in CFYOW and both are fullbringers)
-A casual Kyoraku could have been caught offguard by such a difference in power
-Kyoraku was being overly generous with his statement.

That's definitely the answer, its just Kyoraku being Kyoraku, during the SS arc him and Ukitake in team still pushed Yamamot to unleash his Shikai
 
There’s maybe 1 issue with saying Soul Society Arc Shunsui ~ TYBW Shunsui, and that’s the databook stats place end of SS Zaraki > Shunsui. But we also know characters can get rusty, even the super old ones if they don’t keep up their training and form. So it’s very probable that Shunsui just dusted off some rust, especially since it’s noted that the current Gotei 13 has experienced so much peace that it’s made them weak (in Yhwach’s eyes), meaning it’s reasonable to assume that at least following the century after Turn Back the Pendulum and before the SS arc, a lot of these characters probably weren’t staying on top of their training. You could also argue the databook stats were just retconned and weren’t considering future scaling ramifications. Etc etc etc.

However, it’s worth noting that Kubo’s statement about it Shunsui says they don’t change much, not that they don’t change at all. Meaning, while the gap between AA Shunsui and TYBW Shunsui isn’t intended to be massive, there can still be power growth.

Edit: the question also spoke about AA Shunsui vs TYBW Shunsui too, so it could be the case that Kubo only meant that AA Shunsui ~ TYBW Shunsui.
