Elimination: Which Season 10 Combatant has the Best Backstory? Vote for Your Least Favourite

The being whose whole gimmick is that he's a mystery is out, guess that's what happens when your entire lore is through text. Among the thirty-two characters that appeared in Death Battle in Season 10, who among them had the best backstory? Backstories can be comprised of either background lore or actually shown events. They can be in flashbacks or during the middle of a story when a character is introduced, either way their backstory makes up who they are and their motives, what pushes them to continue or explain why they do what they do the present day. We'll find out who has the best among the rest by voting off the weakest from the strongest.

I honestly think the new R>F revisions will result in more verses losing tier 1 than it will in verses actually attaining 1A ngl lol, since the restrictions around something qualifying for R>F will be a lot tighter.

however hilariously Touhou very likely applies for the R>F change so uhh lmao

Well... Nasuverse is a verse of works under Type Moon / Notes Co., Ltd., owned by Kinoko Nasu.

Notes Co., Ltd. is famous for making p_rn games in the form of word/picture adventure games and/or visual novels.

In fact, Tsukihime and Fate/stay night are both p_rn word/picture adventure games / visual novels at first.

And "trust me pal", there are/were quite a couple of Japanese firms making p_rn word/picture adventure games / visual novels. A few of which were getting mainstream.

Reality-fiction, aka characters who see for example the verse as a mere game, book, tv show, drawing, dream etc and exist outside it are able to gain low 1-C rating

Skullgirls has an example of that where the 3 goddesses play it like a game on a joystick and the character stories are timelines

I think it also has to do with how strong fictional characters have gotten in general in VS circles. A couple of years ago there was a lot of skepticism regarding high tiers or having a lot of hax. Nowadays it's not rare for chars to bust into tier 4, tier 2 or even tier 1 and have a frigton of abilities based on some very specific lore details.

From the top of head, Death Battle itself is an example of that, past seasons we actually ribbed on them for underplaying characters compared to feats or stuff we have, but nowadays it's not rare to see them put their participants higher than we do.
