Rn his eyepatch is an unquantifiable amp/restriction. While his Shikai is a quantifiable amp of like 8x. So his Shikai multiplier is quantifiably greater, but that’s because we don’t have a quantification for his TYBW eyepatch.

It’s almost like the entire point of training Zaraki in Muken was for him to remove his mental inhibitors and regain his original strength he had as a kid. And almost like when he did that he defeated Bankai Unohana. Simple logic telling us then that kid Zaraki is superior to Bankai Unohana. It doesn’t really get more clear cut.

You are also ignoring that she didn't use bankai in previous battle even though she got a permanent scar. So there's no reason to assume the statement includes her bankai.
Using training fight to scale no eyepatch base zaraki above bankai unohana is just not ok. He defeated worn out unohana.

This whole bankai thing is assumption. The shown fight didn't have her bankai, when the fight ended zaraki didn't have any kind of injury that her bankai would cause.

Her Bankai heals people so of course he doesn't have wounds, and that doesn't defeat his claim that it's unkowable whether or not she used Bankai, and thus isn't a defeater for her stating she is inferior to Zaraki.

This is legit healing someone that many times from lethal wounds would take it's toll. She was willing to do whatever it took to get him back. Plus she could have been saying she was weaker than his base and like she said kid zaraki didn't give her time to cheap tricks which could include a bankai from his or her pov. She probably was surprised how a kid without shikai or bankai was superior to her is probably what she was referring to. We also don't even know if she has bankai back then. He's never seen it before that much is certain. Based on his reaction.
You can still be weaker than someone objectively, if I need bankai to beat someone who can't even do shikai or bankai that would also be considered "pathetic." Especially if he's young. Also if he could one shot her through her automatic healing bankai, he would have one shot her base as kid zaraki didn't hold back, back them

It's true trying to one shot Bankai Unohana is >>> trying to one shot her base. You have to work through higher stats and her insta healing Bankai. She likely just meant she was weaker than him in the clashing which would extend to his Bankai if she knew he even had it or a theoretical if he did. You can argue who would win in Bankai based off how the fight without Bankai is going. Initially he didn't hold back on Unohana and he couldn't one shot her base and she was also smacking him around. Also we don't even know if he deactivated her Bankai it's entirely possible all she did was deactivate it to prevent further harm since she could tell he already surpassed her and felt he was ready. I mean what would happen if he got rid of all his shackles but was partially skeletal/melted? He would either look hideous or die from his wounds

That's not a one shot. He couldn't even go completely through her body with his thrust like he did in modern fight
