Yu vs Joe

There's also the fact that analytical prediction already let Yu beat an opponent who was constantly perception blitzing him and could one-shot him at any point. Yu's skill was already considered perfect, it is his strength that got trained later on. Yu is very much capable of dealing with someone who had far higher speed that his slow mo could barely keep up with, strength that could mangle him in one hit and far greater stamina.

When has Yu adapted to literal light punches?
That absolutely ***** on slow mo lol. Joe could react to Harimau's charges that explicitly took people slow mo to see (they didn't need it to see Harimau's prior movements)
Yu sees attacks as slow. Just passively. Attacks that would blitz him easily get read by slow mo.

That's the thing, Aaron is far beyond Yu's physical speed. The fact that he didn't get punched by him is only possible with his slow mo and Analytical Pred combo
Aaron was holding back and still managed to rip a chunk of yu's ear off and bits of his skin even tho yu was using his slow mo ability??

If you can perceive a canonball flying your way but your speed is below the canonball, can you still dodge the canonball that is already properly?

Also some of Aaron's punches were like an inch away from his face and he perfectly dodged them too so ig the punches that did hit him were probably even faster.

Anyways i am tired of arguing here for today so I'd like to request y'all to send me scans of Joe's adaptation and Joe stomping slow mo guys.
If you have any scan requests for Yu then please send them here so I'll get them to you tomorrow. I've business to attend to now. See y'all.

I don't get this example🗿

Yu wasn't perfectly dodging MOST of those punches, he was inches away from getting his head crushed. If Yu was perfectly dodging most of them then he wouldn't have been getting so much of his skin torn off even tho he had slow mo

Seeing =/= dodging
Just cause you see it coming doesn't guarantee you'll move out of the way in time. Else Spidey would never lose a single fight.
Also, perception fuckery would really help Joe here

Check his page, the perception manipulation part of it. Seems like a perfect counter to Yu

Joe solos via quality tbh.

Have some respect for the OG, without Joe there's no Ippo and without Ippo martial arts manga / web toons wouldn't be a thing nowadays. Hajime no Ippo especially saved that genre and made it popular.

The audacity to base the popularity of a genre in one country via a random manga from another. Have some shame, it ain't harmful.

At least Yu had a functioning brain in the end of the webtoon.
