Oh yeah, I'm known in a few places for being the guy with all those "wacky 5-D Goku arguments," and this is one of them that's been proliferating recently. Basically, there's an interview from the Broly movie staff where they state that depicting the dimension of swirling lights was their attempt at depicting something beyond 3-D, where they expressed the dimension in mathematical formulas and converted it to 3-D. The problem is, I've been met with 5 debunks recently, so I have to keep updating the arguments (which I haven't in a while).Hey is this thread worth anything? Could anyone look at it and let me know? Actually that was made by profectus so yes....it probably doesn't work here?
Both Omega's counter argument and it being a misinterpretation aren't exactly strong counter arguments imo, but right now the DOSL is just a giant question mark and we don't know much about it, so using that limited information to make claims for 5D DBS are just shaky purely because its such an isolated incident at this point.Oh yeah, I'm known in a few places for being the guy with all those "wacky 5-D Goku arguments," and this is one of them that's been proliferating recently. Basically, the main counterpoint is that the interview was talking about the math of 3-D animation and CGI, and the whole part about "beyond 3-D" was a misinterpretation. Not to mention:
1. We don't accept "superdimensional" as a significant statement by site standards: its supporting evidence at best.
2. I think Omegabronic argued in his space-time number downgrade thread that "beyond 3-D" could just be referring to how it's a space-time rather than being spatially 4-D.
Either way, the article has plenty of good statements for the dimension of swirling lights like how its a "different dimension" and "entirely different reality," but I strongly advise against using any of the "beyond 3-D" or "5-D" arguments from it.
Dende is the Guardian of Earth, which sets the events during the ten day wait for the Cell Games, but Gohan is still 8 years old, and Goku and Vegeta are seemingly in their normal Super Saiyan formsreally? lol how come?
The word used is "isshun" (一瞬), which translates into "instant; moment; for an instant", effectively meaning a brief period of time.I want to see is refute a lot of evidence
not really matter much honestly, because Isshun also often use for instant as in zero time, it depend on contexts anyway, Japanese do not have specific word for zero time, teleportation iircThe word used is "isshun" (一瞬), which translates into "instant; moment; for an instant", effectively meaning a brief period of time.
Lmao having pattern recognition and being able to see who likes what post is super fun
I giggle like an idiot everytime I see someone who never engages or talks in this topic mysteriously like a certain comment just because it leans towards their personal bias.
This looks goodThat’s just clairvoyance.
I thought basically every film was considered canon to the Toei Anime continuity due to Fusion Reborn (which is considered Toei Canon) making everyone cameo.that goku has no profile here, as the meta cooler movie is not considered canon for the toei anime continuity
nah, most of the movies are impossible to fit in the timelineI thought basically every film was considered canon to the Toei Anime continuity due to Fusion Reborn (which is considered Toei Canon) making everyone cameo.
the Broly movies are also considered non canon to toeiBut even if it wasn't, they use the same subspace in the LSSJ Broly film anyway, so IT in those films/Toei Continity simply functions differently.
DowngradesWhat happens if Super Saiyan 2 is accepted as 2x Super Saiyan?
Check out what I found in the DB thread
The place where the Tournament of Strength will take place is a dimension where the concepts of space and time do not exist. The Realm of Nothing can be controlled by the Grand Priest and although it has limitations, at the same time it allows each fighter to fight in the gravity conditions of their own planet. Your combat arena is made of a very resistant material: Ultra Resistant Material.
What actually confirms about canon material

I think we have something like that for DBH.Now intertwine DB's time with causality (like Ben 10 or GOW) and that's it, Acausality type 4 for Goku and etc.
WowNow intertwine DB's time with causality (like Ben 10 or GOW) and that's it, Acausality type 4 for Goku and etc.
What's in DBH doesn't go to DBS. Despite the opposite happening.I think we have something like that for DBH.
How far down?Downgrades
I mean......depends, you say 2x as in 2x superior to grade 3 or 2x regular ssj1?How far down?
Is it, like, Third Grade stops being 10x?
Probably not sureHow far down?
Is it, like, Third Grade stops being 10x?
There must be a statement like that in a dragon ball guide.
For cosmic stability, time is only meant to flow in one direction. The nature of our reality with all its interwoven systems depends on that. When jumping backward through time, even picking a simple flower, if it's the right flower, could have profound effects. There must be a statement like that in a dragon ball guide.
Considering the focus on time travel that entire arcs have had.
In DB there is an explanation of timelines, they are separated from each other and there is a void between them, it is mentioned by Trunks that changes in the past do not affect the future in any way, even though a God can affect spacetime and beyond him mentioning that the space-time flow is different in each timeline, suggesting that each story generates a totally different timeline. There must be a statement like that in a dragon ball guide.

What is said in Japanese? Because that's good.
Twice as powerful as regular Super Saiyan, which, of course, sets a precedent that does not allow for Third Grade to be 10x as powerful as regular Super Saiyan.I mean......depends, you say 2x as in 2x superior to grade 3 or 2x regular ssj1?
Ah, so it doesn't say anything about the fabric of reality being composed of interwoven systems (causality). Thank you.
All but like two, and those are Wrath of the Dragon and Bojack Unbound. And yet we still count the others because the very continuity of events, (such as the Sacred Water from the Garlic Jr. Saga, which is directly related to the film, or Cooler's appearance, despite the fact canonically Goku would be on Yardrat at that time, should easily be able to use SSJ {where he clearly struggles to use it in film}, and should have Instant Transmission.)nah, most of the movies are impossible to fit in the timeline
I think that it would downgrade grade 3's 10x statementTwice as powerful as regular Super Saiyan, which, of course, sets a precedent that does not allow for Third Grade to be 10x as powerful as regular Super Saiyan.
