Ok so it's not exact and it's only there for like half a second but one of the screens (Or magic visions?) the two dudes are looking at with all the buu saga flashbacks is just a shot of an galaxy with what looks like the same purpleish pink sparks that they used to show Buu destroying that one galaxy in the anime only flashback. Could be something else entirely of course but imagine if Daima retroactively makes the canon Buu saga 4-A.

JJ sent it to me on discord and I thought the exact same thing. Even as a one-off flashback, it should be enough to make Manga Z 4-A when the anime actually drops

Better yet, we should do a canonicity thread when the anime drops and decide where to place Daima in terms of continuities

If it reuses elements from the Toei anime, and Toriyama has basically given it a greenlight, then at least those elements undoubtedly become the main canon

No, Daima is manga canon (more involvement from Toriyama than with anything Super had, and the Buu Saga flashbacks already has frames that are manga only and weren't in Toeiverse), anything from Daima simply retroactively applies to the manga canon

Manga only frames and shots do, the Daima Buu Saga recap has original animations of frames that weren't in the Anime.

Shin and Kibito are unfused in Daima too so it obviously takes place somewhere within or post Super

I never played DBO but it's canonicity was always something debated from what I saw, but BoG and RoF were literally manga canon, and I don't think anything placed the OVA into Toeiverse either

Galaxy-level for Buu Saga would be amazing. Imagine if Daima unifies the canon between Toei and the manga fully and just rolls with the Toei movies being what-if timelines.
