I'm nitpicking, and I get that this isn't your point, but I'm a little shit and have to correct you.

Barring Helbram, normal Fairies that were born from nature look like elves or gnomes in animation and even downscaled humans, rather than specifically children. They don't really look older than their equivalent age (i.e, a 1,500 year old Fairy who's at the end of their life will look like a 100 year old person).

King, Elaine and similar guardian Fairies are unique and age far more slowly because they were birthed by the Fairy Forest's Sacred Tree. However, King and Elaine still look younger than their actual age because their wings haven't sprouted; a fully grown guardian Fairy can look like this, this or this.

That doesn't stop Nabaka from writing them to not be like that, though.

Yeah, I meant like, perpetually, for the main ones. I mean, I wanted their Winged forms to just be like, fully grown up, and then that's their Base states.

Hell, I would settle for them looking like King's Redditor form.
 
I would say "I almost would rather they were actually just insect people" but that would genuinely be peak fiction because insect people are cool as hell.

Make sure they have similar stats, i.e both are 9-A or what not (they don't have to be 9-A I'm just saying that as an example)
And that one doesn't have a lot of hax that the other can't do nothing against.

what if one character has a different size, for example the size is type 3 and the other is type 1 but both have the same AP, is this allowed?

Yeah I don't see why not.
There might be a LS difference but depending on their abilities and what not that may not be a problem.

Season 1 is an incredibly good package of excellent qualities so I'd recommend that. If it hooks you the manga is enjoyable too.
