Well Barragan doesn't have anti feats unlike Renji. Why should we just disregard this statement?. It's been stated 3-4 times as far as I can see

You'd expect that if Iko was really so ungodly stronger than Grimmjow and Luppi he wouldn't get folded by the same two. Yeah they had NaNaNa assist but that doesn't compensate a gap supposedly so massive. So I agree hollow Barragan being stronger than han cfyow Grimmjow is just bad writing

Prime Iko and Prime Barragan could had been way stronger than their recent selfs. Barragan ruled HM from his chair and didn't train or did much during a 1,000 years, so just like Yamamoto he got weaker compared to the version Iko remembers.

- Barragan curses Aizen for giving a stronger power than he previously had and was planning to neg Aizen. Barragan never once stated if he had his previous younger self power he would be stronger than FKT Version. It's the other way around.

Not to Mention Databook literally states Yama in FKT reached his peak and stood top of every arts. You clearly at this point making some big headcanons and taking Yhwach statement out of context.

Only problem with Barragan scaling above Grimmjow i see is there is a mindset of Previous Arcs character can't be Stronger than future Arc characters.

Baraggan isn’t above Grimmjow in raw stats. He’s above Grimmjow with Respira. Baraggan only ever fought Iko with Respira, it’s stated as much, and stated that Iko could stalemate Respira. When Iko talks about Baraggan’s power and status as a warrior he’s talking about Respira. Literally any time Baraggan is hyped up by Narita it’s always his Respira. It’s the same in SAFWY. It’s also just how Baraggan fights, and all you can say is that the gap between Baraggan and CFYOW Grimmjow is less than the gap between Soi Fon and Aizen, since Grimmjow can’t suppress Respira with his raw power.

Unohana knows about Squad 0, and knew Renji was taken up there, so it’s more than likely that she’s just referring to the fact that Renji is going to get a massive amp and potentially be a good fight for Zaraki down the line. Basically she’s saying Zaraki has comrades, who like him, haven’t reached their peak yet and will continue to get stronger alongside him. That’s why he doesn’t have to worry about holding back anymore.

That was pre auswahlen however you spell that shit. Post aus elites in base > squad zero. And the captains can fight with those elites in transformed states and vollstanding

Oetsu is definitely strong but i think the captains in the last invasion got that typical bs powerup to scale with current enemies. I know narratively squad zero > captains but again, relevant and convenient power up makes that kinda irrelevant to the captains during later invasion. Post Aus base elites are > everybody in squad zero except maybe Oetsu. And people like Byakuya is one shotting Post aus base Gerard whom is the most reiatsu impressive of the elites. Overkilling him so much he got massive. If it were the first invasion tybw captains i think Oetsu can honestly solo the captains but if its last invasion i think Byakuya solos them except Ichibei. Yoruichi, Shunsui etc.

Yea, they got massively amped but i dont think its to the degree that they become immune to sayafushi , they dont have the hax needed to survive

Their not stronger then the zero squad. We see tenjiro perception blizt soifon which means he can blitz any captain except kenpachi. We also see senjumaru perception blitz nozel who is also captain level. Then we have oestu blitzing multiple elite sterriters. So it's clear their in a different League than the captains.
The reason they lost was due to hax oestu was caught of guard by the X-axis twice because he thought it could be blocked or that he could react to it. The others we don't know how they died but we see Pernida and askin take down people much stronger than them like base kenpachi and ichigo. So it wouldn't be a surprise if they got hax stomped.
The captains did better against them because they had the perfect counters to them or they had intel on them. Shunsui's was a prefect counter to the x-axis,mayuri had to use all of his hax plus nemu just to take down pernida. Askin took down like 5 plp before they figured out how to beat him. Base Gerard however was literally jump by half the gotei 13 byakuya even used bankai on him and byakuya only uses bankai if his opponent is strong enough. So for him to use bankai even while being aided by half the G13 means based Gerard was stronger than him.
Another thing is the elites were in holy form when they killed the zero squad not base
