Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Discussion Thread - WITH SPOILERS

You don't need to put 2099 because every Miguel is 2099

We put Peter (Noir) because there's a shit ton of different peters

I see a significant amount more people call the Spider-Verse version of him "Miguel O'Hara" rather than "Spider-Man 2099"
Well if that’s the general consensus naming the profile ‘Miguel O’Hara (Spider-Verse)’ should be fine

Is there any adequate qualification for Extraordinary Genius displayed by Miguel? Lyla created the watch, so that rules that out

He created Spider-Society, but that by its own isn't enough

He seems to be a bit of a tech-head so I'm thinking there's something that warrants a possibly/likely Extraordinary Genius rating

The marvel database claims that he designed the watches at least, tho i don't know where they got that from
Rewatching the scene, he only asks if she finished it, meaning he knew what was going on before he left for less than 2 hours

There's nothing that implies she alone worked on it

So its possible he had a hand in the making of the watch

Yeah it's entirely possible he designed it and just had her build it, tho that seems like a bit of a stretch unless there's more statements implying it

Actually that one was a prototype and looks very different from the final version seen in ATSV

Now that one he may very well have worked on

Anyways, he's probably an outright Extraordinary Genius considering his likely hand in the making of Spider-Society's gadgets and machines, and his suit

How does this sound?
Extraordinary Genius (Created an advanced suit. Founded the Spider-Society to monitor and oversee the events of worlds across the multiverse, meaning he likely worked on the organization's machines used to deal with multiverse anomalies and the second version of the watch used to travel the multiverse. Displays extensive knowledge regarding the workings of the fate and stories of Spider-People across the Spider-Verse)

Thoughts?
Please next time make a sandbox, but it looks solid

Thoughts?
Profile looks good but are we sure Miguel has Spider-Sense and not just enhanced senses like his comic counterpart?

Thoughts?
I think the effects of Miles power-draining his suit should be added as a weakness.

And it’s consistent with comics. We’ve never seen a spider-sense squiggle around him.
Tbf we didn't have an opportunity for that. I put it on his profile just in case although it got removed

Although whatever the case is, some Spiders' senses seem to be able to have Low 1-C range via functioning across the multiverse considering Miguel caught Adriano's claws from across a portal and Gwen sensed that Miles was in the wrong universe

So, last week I watched the movie and over the past week or so I have been engaging in some introspection about what I saw in it, particularly its racial and ethnic diversity. I wonder if it's too late for me to give my feelings about its Hispanic representation given that I am a Hispanic person.
