well either Trunks or his bazillians summons gonna power null and seal him, it's just a matter of who catches Silver first. Since all of them also have their own keysword.
Why would he start with that? Silver just needs to attack him once, which is easy since they are 4km apart and silver is out of the power null range

Trunks uses whatever he can whenever he is in a pinch. Like starting with summons if he is having difficulties or fusing with true form tokitoki

Keysword Lock is literally the opening move he used against Meckibura. Which has 2A range.
Yeah, against mechikabura, why would he used it as a opening move on silver?

So he doesn't start with them, therefore silver can win by simply attacking once with his range advantage

This is pedantic.

Trunks used it as opening move literally the first time he ever got the sword. So he's suddenly just not gonna use it because he's against a different guy? He's not in melee range, so it's a pretty safe bet that the first thing he does when using a sword the locks abilities is lock someone's abilities.

Anyways, rn I'm more interested in collecting new scans for card abilities. There's lots of them within interesting stuff. IG I'll make a CRT in the future.

Because mechi was someone he knew was big business and that he needed to do it? Plus any actions he does to activate it is not faster than silver attacking once via thought based tk

Summons don't require action. So restraining Trunks won't do much.
It will when he only needs one attack to win

He will start with due to not being in close range
Says who?

What's to say Trunks doesn't dodge then activate, speed is equalized after all, given that's the only reason this is a debate, otherwise Trunks speedblitz. Also, it's common sense to use the ability locking sword to lock abilities, and given we have evidence he's lead with it before, there is no reason Trunks wouldn't do it again. You've structured a very semantic argument here, but you've chosen to worst character to use it on, given this is Trunks, the guy who doesn't really **** around.

Also, can we go back to how Silver is only winning in one hit, because I skimmed through the thread I haven't gotten a clear answer.

Tk is faster than silver's own speed, also tk affects trunks body, there no way to "dodge it"

Outside of mechi, how many times has he lead with it? Plus the lock is not faster than silver yanking trunks with tk once

howis anything i said semantic?

I would like examples

Physically attacking his mind and body across all of time

The fact you literally need examples for Trunks trying to end shit quick tells me just about everything I need to know.

This is by definition a semantic argument, you trying to prove the unprovable by saying a character who doesn't mess around isn't gonna use an ability he has used before because it's not the exact same scenario as the last time he used it. Literally semantics.

And for the last time, the keysword resists TK, so this one shot argument that's already not too strong to begin with is a moot point. Passive stat boosts mean that Trunks amp his speed to dodge anything Silver can throw at him.

Edit: I'm not gonna engage further and let the voting speak for itself.

Uh...how is Attacking trunks from distance is...gonna do anything? All Silver's attacks are still getting nulled. So again, how's attacking from distance is gonna work?

Just found out there is a CRT for special ki to get causality manip meaning since the keysword resists practically everything in the verse due to how time power and dark ki works, Trunks may resist causality manip in the future. So this thread might not age well.

Yeah, that i am not a very deep dbh fan, any problems with that?

It is logic, different oponents with different relationship's with trunks means different way that he will fight them, like, that is common logic, an enemy that you have been warned about will trigger a different response from someone you just met

And for the last time, the keysword resists TK
Which stops silver from trowing things at trunks how?

Depends on how fast that is

Same

They aren't? The passive null is out of range

Silver'sis potent causality manip, so not really

The KS passively nulls all attacks amd abilities that come near/in contact with it/It's user. So no, Getting out of range only means silver isnt getting nulled, but his attacks will be. And trunks can easily cross thd distance, or just use clones and send them to Silver, so range isn't an issue.

Okay, if so what exactly makes this not a stomp?

No you don't understand this is a DBH thread that means this needs to be as painful and drawn out as possible.
LMFAO.

Anyways the difference between this thread and the Sonic vs Goku one is the following:

Trunks has double the stamina hax.
Trunks can block a single hit with the keysword and then summon it again.
Trunks can't teleport.
Trunks is more skilled than Silver.

Silver's first in-character move will get nulled.
