The entire point of VS is to share and discuss, as well as discover. I don't feel JJ is being rude in how they're approaching this. They're asking for clarification on things, and questioning things, which you should do when trying to figure out stuff in VS. There's no reason to be harsh on someone, or joke about them like this.
True but dude literally had no solid reasoning or evidence to back up his disagreements in the first place so and just claimed that stuff wasn't exactly what it was as he's currently doing by saying guidebooks don't count as secondary canon to stuff

Ik I've personally been joking but I'd take him much more seriously if scans and other stuff were posted to back his disagreements

Sure, I doubt SEGA or Sonic Team looked too closely at this lore in these strategy guides to see if it exactly matched up with their vision, and even people like Ian have stated these Prima guides are grain of salt tier, not to mention sometimes these guides are wrong about things in the final game.

It’s not a guidebook, it’s a walkthrough on a video game.

Strategy guides are guidebooks man…

This is a really obtuse line of argumentation.

But you literally have nothing solid to say this specifically doesn't align with the final vision other than your own word of mouth and yes the things as a whole can be taken with a grain of salt if they contradict but there's literally nothing contradictory here at least WoG even has called out something like this specifically to be faulty so it still doesn't hold up

"Doubt". So your whole argument is based on something that may or may not be real.

They immediately called it a city right before calling it “a universe that never was”, so it could still be interpreted as being part of that universe while not being the whole universe.

...bro, it's a time line, why the hell do you argue so much with the universe or time line, universes are by standards the size of the universe.

Well ig since they say “universe that never was” and not reality or timeline world or some other vague term.

It makes sense Time Eater could suck in whole universes if the guide is accepted.

Not to whiplash to different topics, but can we begin discussing how to handle so many Tier 2 ratings in one key for people like Sonic?

His Super Sonic key will end up as something like "Low 2-C (Phantom King) to 2-C (Egg Salamander). 2-B, Possibly 2-A at his peak (Egg Wizard, Solaris, Time Eater)". This just feels so damn bloated

I already told, scale some of the villains from Low 2-C to higher levels.

3 tiers (like Ness or Shulk) is the best I can see, but 4 is too ******* much lmao.

chaos emeralds vary in power, therefore this is the most accurate way to do it you say gloated but metal has 8 keys and sonic himself should have one more profile to cover all the power boost noted in the powerscaling blog in the verse page, this is already gloated dude lol

How long until this can be applied?
48 hs after reaching the minimum amount of staff approval.

Tho I'd like to get rid of some tiers, otherwise Super Forms get all of Tier 2 ratings, getting shit like "Varies from Low 2-C to 2-C, up to 2-B, possibly 2-A at peak" which, you know, is bad.

Convoluted. But we can do that in another thread, let's also mantain threads organized for the sake of convenience.

it is actually 48 hours since the threads creation

dude, that is just how it is, they vary in power, so we scale then to what they vary to, there is no way to make it not look bad lol

It could be formatted like
"Varies. Low 2-C up to 2-B, possibly 2-A" or "Varies. Low 2-C up to possibly 2-A", then just explaining it in the AP section. Both are better than whatever is going on there.

Again, this is not the thread for it.

Not good enough given all the evidence people have provided above. At this point you're just coping for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and frankly, I'd recommend you stop it.
Why do you automatically assume I’m coping, I am a fan of this franchise.
