okay in regards to my blog here's whats accepted
Book 3 Aang punches a pillar - 0.41758126195 Tons of TNT (Building level)
Waterbenders create a large mass of Ice - 727 Tons of TNT (Multi-City Block level+) per bender
Katara makes a Giant Water Wave - 1.505342894739484 Tons of TNT (Building level+)
Roku stops a volcano - 1.9497451 Kilotons of TNT (Small Town level)
the waterbender feat makes Aang's casual 8-B and low 7-C feat less likely to be outliers along with Combustion Mans 8-A feat, The Dai Li feat is currently not usable and needs more discussion amongst CGMs but also big thanks to TheRustyOne for his evaluation. It seems we'll have to wait on the Dai Li though to see what we'll be doing with them

Just to clarify, we're scaling book 2 and 3 base Aang to Toph's low 7-c rating, right? His first key will be 8-b.

Other fodder have 8-A and 8-B feats Aang in book 1 has his own low 7-C and 8-B feats
Toph has her own low 7-C feat as well as Roku so it seems like masters should be low 7-C
Also lines up with combustion man having his own 8-A feats

By quick calc I meant I estimated some height and did the calc as I would normally without writing it down to get an estimate

Ah okay and I could do one with KE and the shockwave of the feat it would likely yield higher results into the 8-A+ or low 7-C range

So what are Katara's ratings likely going to be? Low 7-c as well?
And if we're scaling these updates to the Legend of Korra characters, I don't think Mako and Bolin should be in tier 7 (at least pre-Book 4 Bolin when he knows lavabending). They're skilled, but not exactly master benders like Tenzin and the gAang are. They're more like pro athletes.

She never fought bumi because he stomped her the first half second they met. (He was covering her with crystal rock stuff and she couldn’t do a thing about it)
I don’t remember it ever being stated that she became any near as good or strong as he was (water tribe leader). As far as I remember he’s still way better than her, and he’s nowhere near comparable to Roku, a super serious aang (katara specifically was terrified of Aang’s power when they saw him freeze the lava), and likely Toph (because her favorite pass time was stomping all the best earthbenders and I think she fought with bumi).

This... never happened? The only time Bumi fought someone in his introductory episode was near the end when Aang chose to fight him in the arena.

I mean, any earthbender worth their salt could have shattered those. I agree that Book 1 Katara would have gotten stomped by him, but not end of series.

Nowhere is it stated any earthbender could break it. As far as I’m aware those rings are specifically used as a punishment/challenge. It won’t make any sense for the earth bending kingdom to use them if any earth bender could break them.
Does end of series katara have any feats showcasing her fighting people on par with a 7-C (maybe Azula, but I’m not sure if her killing aang was because she sneak attacked him or not).
Edit: I’m not super against low 7-C katara I’m just not sure literally everyone should be low 7-C and katara, zuko, and Azula are all characters I’m on the fence about being low 7-C or just stupidly high into 8-A+.

Oof, I just got done with all the pixelscaling and it's barely 8-C

I agree that Katara is stronger than other somewhat random water benders (though honestly calling them “fodder” is kinda headcanon when we don’t know how strong they are relative to Katara) but the divided attack just puts them at 8-B, so she should only scale to one of them.
I heavily doubt that Katara would be equal to all 9 of them at the same time, no matter what we think of their individual power.
