Edens Zero Discussion Thread: The Post-Void Saga!

That Rebecca part was a shock.

I just hope Ziggy goes back to being evil so we can see Shiki unlock a new form so that he can beat OD Ziggy.

Elsie? Sister? Connor? Justice? Eraser? Feather? Noah? Who knows?
 
yo guys i think Shiki should have resistance to Ice manipulation for getting free of Wizard ice capsule

there are multiple characters in the wiki wich got the resistance for the same motive, so Shiki should have it too

like Tatsumi, Meliodas, Etc

what do you think?

well before the new transformation of Shiki, we need to see the mistery of the real enemy

Elsie is involved in this, wich is great

i'm happy that Jesse died, but damn this guy even dead is still causing problems, since Justice will definetly attack Homura

also loved that Irene cameo
 
I knew that when Hiro was choosing to have all the Interstellar and Galactica in 1 arc, a bunch of them would be rushed

This was inevitable, especially considering we also had the 4 Dark Stars and the Edens Zero Crew

That's like a total of 20+ relevant characters
 
I was hoping for Dragon lady to have cool abilities since in my mass crossover that'll never be finished, she fights Juvia.
 
while i do agree the series is getting a little too fast paced, now that there is only Ziggy left, we should be fine, so Hiro can focus more on the story and have more time to think for the pace,

don't know if i explained well
 
Only way I'll forgive Hiro for ruining this arc is by giving Shiki a sweet new form to let him match/beat OD Ziggy.

This arc wasn't "ruined"

Your expectations for Hiro are just dumb... We were dealing with a Wano amount of characters with Hiro's writing style, the Oracion Seis were never gonna last that long

Come on, so was the (also-rushed) Alvarez arc and even that one wasn't as bad as this.

Btw, I would trade my soul for Mashima to get with Oda and do a manga/anime crossover special between One Piece and either Edens Zero or Fairy Tail (or both) like One Piece did with DBZ and Toriko!

I don't know what you expected after Nero... The Oracion Seis were never the most important. Nero got wrapped up real quick. And Jaguar got wrapped up real quick. It only makes sense a lot that aren't as important would follow suit. Hiro is a writer who isn't afraid to scrap a character real quick in favor of giving more hype and time to the characters he really cares about. He wanted to spend a lot of time on Ziggy, the 4 Dark Stars, Elsie, and Deadend Crow, so that inevitably took away time from Acnoella, Cure, and more. And once again, stop expecting villains to last for a fight that's more than 1-3 Chapters, Hiro RARELY ever does that. This isn't One Piece where every villain gets a 5 chapter fight. Wano is the length you get when you try to give all the villains a decently long fight.

But why should we fans try to get invested in the story if the characters' struggles and triumphs are rushed through and anyone not named Ziggy is given no time to shine?

Where's the tension?

Considering how Mashima anime actually has good pacing (unlike Toei One Piece), a lot of anime-only fans are not going to understand why like 5 of this arc's fights start and end in the same episode.
