Reviewing Acausality Type 5 in profile pages

Not open for further replies.
Indeed they have not been interacted, i have even prove for Anos that he was unaffected by the Order of Causality (and he's Acausal) yet not enough proof, just higher degree of type 4.... Like come on.
There is a Q&A thread on the matter, but it is a somewhat specific topic and nothing would be changed on the matter. Soneone should compile a thread that aims to change things.

Yes, many people showed their disapproval, ultima was questioning the requirement, elizhaa even commented about the same. I wasn't staff so I didn't comment but like most people I think the current requirement is a **** since no one qualifies.
That weird requirement > ∞ evidences, proof and statments

Just one question about this

So whose that qualify for this ability???

Even mentioned unable to reach because lack of causality, like this is not qualify:

In fact his nothingness is state that beyond order(in this context then it beyond causality)

He both unreachable/uninteractable because he is nothing and because he is unbound by order

Talking about lack of causality. In this verse lack of causality make someone is unable to reach because yeah he his dont have causality. Like maytilen in the scan, no matter you push the blade, that will not reach his head, because the result in him head is being destroyed, make him unable to reach by attack that follow causality system
 刃は届いていない。
 どれだけ押し込もうと、刃は頭に到達せぬ。
 奴の頭に突き刺さるという結果が、崩されたかのように。
The blade has not arrived.
No matter how hard I push, the blade does not reach the head.
The result of stabbing him in the head, has been destroyed.

Maytilen even not a misfit like graham that unbound the order it self. So graham is uninteractable not just because his nothingness but because he unbound the order

Can you create a staff thread, or should I do it?

I'm not doing so and I would not recommend doing so until you are clear about what you are going to say and it does not remain a failed attempt.

Ngl, his reasoning is not even convincing. I still think Anos qualify for new standards and many people and none verse supporters also think about it.

Alright, I will go sleep for now. Is anyone against the idea of creating staff CRT by me?

I think no character will qualify for type 5 then

I mean bruh. Author can write the causality just exist in some plane of reality(higher D) or the some level of abstraction, and then the plane/abstraction outside that, is beyond the causality. That not need to make some reason the character is not interacable because he is higher D or because he is abstrack because in fact the higher D or the abstraction is already beyond the causality, so the character will have both that make him unable to interact with

You stfu and go with Arcana.

Ya I am aware. Even tier 0 characters could not qualify it.

For me, the explanation in page is good. But the qualify is not good

Yes, the character must uninteractable. But this is must back to verse it self, we must see how author describe the "beyond causality". I mean if author says some abstraction is beyond causality, we dont need says the character with that abstraction is uninteractable because just he is abstract, it will againts what the author want

They don't touch it but can open a path to approach the root (the localisation so not really []) if they try to approach to much they get erased yeah.
is shiki's body connected to the [] or the root? Because it is the root that is hyped to be beyond everything in verse including all causality. Also [] is called emptiness 空 which is shiki's origin , so i assume shiki is connected to [] which souren and all magi was trying to reach or open a path to.
"Beyond and below lay only darkness. This void, lifeless place could only mean one thing: I was dead.

Without anything to even clothe me, I, Shiki Ryōgi, floated, and then
sank slowly into the fathomless, lightless sea. There was no end in sight.
There was nothing in sight, neither light, and yes, perhaps even darkness.
This place was only a hollow, where all meaning ceased to be. A stygian
abyss that could not be put into words, and without words it shall remain:
a cypher called, simply, “ ”.
I fell deeper into the “ ”, and my naked body slowly acquired the pallor
of the grave, and it made me want to look away. In my mind, I knew that
everything in this place comes to be the same way.
“Is this death?” I whispered, though it came out so faint, I doubted if it
was even real.
Though time too had no meaning inside “ ”, I observed it. Like a stream
tracing out into the infinite, like the process of decay, I mark it. It was an
eternity. I plunged ever deeper, and cast my eyes farther, and in that eter-
nity, this place was still empty, devoid of anything except me. And yet, it
was all so calm and serene. It feels as if, in this place without meaning, the
fact that I existed at all fits me. Here lay entropy, the end of all things, a
place the living may never observe, but only the dead may enter.
I died. And yet I am still alive. I felt my mind about to lose its grip.
Two years. An instant, stretched out to an eternity. Both are accurate
measures of my time spent in this “ ”. Here, I touched death. Here, I fought
for my life. Here, I awakened." -Kara no kyoukai Vol 2- page 6

And apparently the dead can enter it.

The soul of the dead can pass through the root (localisation) to do their reincarnation but they don't interact with it otherwise many magi would just kill themself to try. Shiki origin is [], which is void shiki, she like an incarnation of it, and void shiki use the body of shiki to be able to affect the world if she want as whitout the body she can just sleep or be in her domain.

Is passing through something or entering something , or getting erased upon touching is not a form of interaction? And mages who touch the root DO interact with it. Especially how miss blue describes handling the root.

Aoko: You see Soujurou, magecraft is what we call common rules. Think of magic systems like runes and Kaballah as being universal manuals for their respective topics. As long as you have the manual, anyone can become a magus depending on the bloodline. But using magic is different. Magic isn't a copy from the "Whirl of the Root" like magecraft, it's directly connected to the Whirl of the Root.

Aoko: This "Whirl of the Root" is....well to put it ways in you can understand, try thinking it's something like the sun. It's far, and it's the first thing that's there, so we can't live our lives without it. Magecraft is just taking advantage of the blessing of the sun. Copying natural phenomena or compensation is what magecraft is all about. We learn, practice, recreate mysteries, but we can't make mysteries ourselves. Actually, we can, at the end of our research, but there's an enormous barrier in our way. One that can't be passed by human understanding, kind of like a limiter.

Aoko: And, magic, is handling the sun itself. You're in a place no one can ever reach, and you perform miracles that can be copied by no other. It's a craft that this age's humanity can't arrive at no matter how much money and time is spent. That's what magic is.

Aoko: It's like going over the dimensional barrier, or like when you keep running, you stumble into a world with completely different rules and then learn those rules...I suppose.

Aoko: I said before that magecraft has no limits. I meant that in that if it's within the bounds of human understanding, it has no limits. On the other hand, magic is full of limits, in fact, it can only do one thing, but that's to be expected. It's the one lone spec of light that's become the outcast in the workings of the universe.

Soujuurou: ...Magic's more amazing than magecraft...I understand that from the flow of the topic, but it's full of limits, isn't it?

Aoko: Limits, well more along the lines of special exceptions, privileges, unauthorized powers. It doesn't have versatility, but by being able to do what no one else can do, you're made all-mighty in the world of magecraft.

Aoko: In the first place, magic's kind of like the reward for a magus who has arrived at the "Whirl of the Root", and even if that caster doesn't have the physical ability to use it, just having a path to the Root lets him mystically do anything. In other words, he becomes the richest person in the world."
Aoko: Yes, and also our final objective. The Whirl of the Root is position where all knowledge is recorded, and all things are determined. If you can look, touch, understand it, even the word "impossible" can be remade. It has many names in legends, but it's basically the position where God is.
Soujuurou: By God, you don't mean the 8 million kami?
Aoko: It's because you say things like that sometimes that makes you troublesome. I mean, there are gods in every form, but I’m talking about the big underlying assumption that decided that.
Aoko: I don't know why the entrance for that was in Misaki, but grandfather found it and made a new magic. But after that, he closed the path to the Root. He said as long as we’ve established the magic, we should close the path to God should disappear.
Aoko: I mean that no one touching the Root has ever come back. On a global scale. You touch it, you cease to exist on the spot. The very moment the likes of a human soul touches it, it’ll go back to “where it came from" or be absorbed into the Root, or something.
Aoko: So, even the mages who have left their name in history have refrained from touching just that. At the best, they get close to it to stabilize their own magecraft in a hurry.

I am assuming by root aoko is referring to [], since it is the[] where the dead really go to according to this

I will let Everything decide , but people very much interact with the root.
Also void shiki directly says that she is connected to the spiral of origin BTW

The thing is nobody is know to have touched the root, the true magic user are only people who have make a path to the root but never touched it. And even the "touch" part is metaphorical as they just get erased and their soul absorbed when they approach it. (In first touch it is impossible the verse itself is a part of the root).
And by the own definition of [] she can't talk about [] bcz it can't be described. She just talk about the definition of [] which is another thing that englobed by [].

All was created from it, including logic, and all logic that is applied to "it" cannot be "it", as it was created from "it". Can you provide a statement where it is said the verse itself is a part of the root? The root's omnipresence.
Besides, the erasure can also be considered a part of causal system
You are touching the root- cause
Your soul is getting absorbed- effect

Speed: Omnipresent (Transcendent of and all-encompassing the totality of existence, with every aspect of reality being an extension of it)

So what vs battles wiki says is canon now i guess. Yay.
And where is it said the root's erasure is passive?
the "Abyss" where the souls return to, where shiki found herself was explicitly stated to be [] rather then an extension of it.
All was created from it, including logic, and all logic that is applied to "it" cannot be "it", as it was created from "it". Pretty sure apophatic theology is NOT acausal type 5 according to current criteria.

My source ? I tell you it's in profile bcz it's already accept like that. If you don't accept it you need to make a crt.

It's said in the novel litteraly why Roa have 1-A resistance to erasure.

What do you think? Does this reject type 5 for the root?
