Amphibia discussion thread.

Would someone mind making an Andrias profile?

I mean he has quite a few feats despite his few combat showings.

1. Casually sent Grime flying with a headbutt and later sent him and Sasha flying easily (and is overall clearly far above Grime and Sasha)

2. Far above Yunnan and sent her flying with a single palm

3. Took a beating from Blue Anne despite her being far above him and still got up, and his shield held out against an explosion that vaporized 6 Frobo robots.

4. Effortlessly one-shot Frobo.

5. Tanked 2 swipes from Grime's Hammer to the back of the knee on different occasions.

New feats from the new episodes

At the beginning of The Root of Evil we see that Andrias' Castle's cannon can create explosions bigger than nearby mauntains. Also in The core and the king we see in Leaf's flashback the moon falling on Amphibia. Of course their moon could be a different size than ours, but still, possible moon/planet level feat? They did say they were gonna go big in the finale

There's a lot of hints that the finale will go all out. the 3 girls would likely get super powers. My bet is that the verse will go up a few tiers once this is all set and done.

We see the Moon falling. This shit Is gonna get at least tier 6, heck most likely tier 5, depending on the contest. Since Matt Is a Sonic fan, I Imagine there's gonna be something like them stoppino the Moon from falling

Apparently Someone on the Death Battle Discord calc chat calculated this based on the mountains size. They for around Small city level, though I'm not sure how much it's accurate, since they were calcing the whole of the 3 blasts

How did they get the mountain size? Screenshots/Text of the calcs, please?
 
I'm still wary about how absurdly low this value is.

That calc used medium sized mountains yet couldn't even get city-level
 
Alright guys, next episode is the finale or rather where almost all the action will take part. The verse can see major upgrades if the moon thing actually happens.
 
IMO Andrias should really get his own page.

The only issues with him are:

1. Should he upscale to 7-C? Yes, the margin between 7-C and Frobo's 517 ton feat is really big, but the thing is that Andrias effortlessly one-shot Frobo with a casual one-handed punch, so we know he's WAY above Frobo's 8-A feat.

2. I know Anne with Blue Power goes up to High 7-A, but how should we rank Andrias's shield's durability?

Andrias was able to briefly resist Anne in her super form, so he should be At most 7-C
 
Sooooooo a lot of VS stuff happened. Mostly 8 tier stuff, but Anne did get TK. Her powers are still at a time limit. Pretty sold episode. Next should be interesting.
 
Energy beams can pulverize or fragment, right? As opposed to vaporization?

What was assumed for the Amphibia mountain busting calc the castle's beam did? The one where it made a mountain-dwarfing explosion in the world of Amphibia itself?
 
Does vaporizing that mountain in Los Angeles get us any good results.

Also, Andrias should be something like: "At least 8-C, likely Low 7-C in base, up to High 7-A in mech suit", since it did let him match Blue Anne.

If I had to Guess it's gonna get around city level and Mountain level if u use vaporization

Yeah. AFAIK, general rule of thumb, feats involving denser matters have more energy.

It takes more energy to destroy stone than wood, & such. & meanwhile fire & air blasts & such, AFAIK, are relatively less dense in energy than the amount of energy to destroy something like stone or metal.

Thus, feats involving fire & explosions can be really big yet not get that high but stuff involving something like a big ball of some heavy material can get a high yield.

Although, for what its worth, temperature can be durability negation, so that's nice for characters where we can get a good idea of the level of heat -Or in extreme cases, cold- of the feat.
 
Oh yeah based on the trailer Anne is totally going to fight the moon, based, it gonna get what it deserved.
 
Yeah, let's kill the moon.

Nobody likes some creepily silent orbiter that spends half their time hiding from the world in the dark, right?
