Combat experience isn't skill... You can fight for 1000 years and still be less skilled than someone who has fought for 10 years.

That again falls under knowledge not experience, I know how to play football does that mean I'm skilled at it? No, skill is a type of intelligence that doesn't mean it falls under all types of intelligence.

You can't be skilled without being intelligent in your particular field, that is the whole idea of skill. That is why someone who has much less experience can be more skilled than someone who has more experience like the example you gave. More experience or age means you have more time to hone your skills and make them better.

Kazuma should not be here he has consistently beaten characters way stronger than him
This includes that one time when he raided the royal castle and defeated several elite guards combined with several high tier adventures just because of his wits and skills
And once when he was drunk he almost defeated an high tier monster that even the crimson demons considered a threat just to mess with Megumin
Also I should mention Snipe combined with his luck gives him a near 100% accuracy with bows and stuff, lurk gives him an excellent stealth options he also has great enhanced and extrasensory senses thanks to foresight, clairvoyance and enemy detection
