All-purpose request thread (New forum)

What about just asking to me change the ******* thread to remove the political bullshit instead of asking to be closed?
First off, chill out. Second off, you can just recreate the thread. It’s not a big deal. Several of the replies had already mentioned the political figure in question. Editing the thread would’ve done little at that point.

That may just be a mod jumping the gun but we'll wait, though I guess it was too hard to just move it to Fun and Games if they were really insistent on it not being in Versus Threads

I don’t take responsibility for the closure of that second thread. And yes I will tell you to calm down. It was an option I forgot about and I apologize for. There’s still no reason to be getting as aggressive as you are right now.
Yes you do because it's your fault to ask to the first thread be closed and someone who abuses the mod power literally closed the second shit without even reading and who tf do u think that u are to know if I am not calm or agressive and try to force me to do something?

Let's also consider the fact that the Site Rules doesn't explicitly forbid anything related to the use of political figures (while I think it is an ultimately productive rule to add, it doesn't exist yet) and only contains a related rule that does not tolerate "Derogatory comments on religious or political matters (both highly sensitive issues)". Do mods have some discretion to enforce what isn't in the rules?

Bern, I am giving you an official warning now. Chill out!

If mistakes were made, they were made. And if you are upset, fine.

However, that thread never belonged in the Versus Threads forum. Threads like that belong in F&G, period. (Not to mention the stuff about political members, which is explicitly not allowed.) If you had asked politely to have your thread restored and moved to F&G, there would have been no issues. But your attitude is shining you in a poor light, and you need to cut it out.

How exactly is a mod closing the second thread my fault? I asked them to close a match involving a political figure. I didn’t ask to close every thread involving Goku vs Composite real world. And I don’t need to be a mind reader to understand what is and what isn’t an aggressive tone of text.

Can someone add this category to these locked profiles?

Since these are the only locked OP char profiles for people who have Haki

Edit: Also I have this issue

The name of the category won't come up.

I was informed that it would take some time, but it's been almost an hour and I've added 80+ profiles. I'd assume it would've registered by now

Sorry for the double post, but as I'm sure this is minor enought ironically...

This profile was made with a key section.

The problem? It has only a single key, and in fact that fits the formatting given there's only a single tier section for the purposes of this page, the issue is that this detail goes against the Standard Format for Character Profiles, respectively:

"For characters who have transformation stages/power-ups or who become stronger through certain points of the story, insert those transformations/power-ups/timelines here in bold."

Given the plural around here, it's clear that the Key section isn't meant for pages that would only have a single section, and it's understandable why, it's redundant and useless, yet some users like @Dragonmasterxyz argue off-site that it's not a big deal to break a standard just because it makes the job easier for a future CRT, except that as he said, this area is so minor for a revision it could also be removed without issue, not more than 10 seconds are realistically saved in editing with this., and in fact can give issues when editing.

Therefore, perhaps the Standard Format of Characters Profiles should also say that the Key section shouldn't be added to characters that would only have a single one in the first place?

I don't mind whatever conclusion is given so long we specify in the end if giving a key section to a page with a single key in the first place is fine.
And even then this would grant a site-wide revision if we say "yes" to this, for the sake of consistency and all.

Bob, use common sense. If there is nothing saying it's an issue or against standards, then it is causing no issues meaning whether you like it or not, it is not against the rules. You are the only one making a small and insignificant thing public and making it a bigger deal than it actually is.
