Teen Titans (cartoon) speed upgrade

Season 1:

Looking at the above, no one seemed to react to the light beam attacks.

Season 4:

The same happens again later. I don't consider the light bolts/balls as light speed. I would chock up not hitting Bat Beastboy as him being a lousy shot.

Season 5:

Here, Raven is able to make her shield after the light beam was fired. The other Titans are able to react and dodge in time as well, sans Starfire.

Thank you to all staff members who are helping out here.

So what do you think that we should do as a solution?

Thats not what im talking about. Im talking about this bit here:
Based on very blatant visual feats. It's up to you to prove they were moving, and for some reason talking, at MTF+ speeds 100% of the time.
We never use this kind of argument to counter light speed claims, unless you want to downgrade pretty much a majority of verses.

Whether or not the spaceship was actually moving at MFTL+ speeds is a different discussion, but saying it definitely wasn't all because of it supposedly not moving that fast "visually" is a very weak argument against speed feats.

The context of the feat is them crossing billions of planets in the span of a week while also looking for directions, this ain’t really what you would call counter-evidence.
Except that didn't happen. They only crossed an unknown empty space distance and visited a couple of planets that were extremely close to each other, to the point where you could see them from each other's orbit to almost their full size.

Not to mention it was an unknown short period of time not one week. It is never stated how long they actually took.

All staff members:

So what do you think that we should do here?

In the Season 5 clip above, the structure is about 21 meters tall, but since the bean was shot at an angle, let's say it was 30 meters. Light would take
1e−7 seconds to cross this distance which amounted to 38 frames. Raven shield started to form at about 23 frames after the beam was fired. This is about
6.0526315789e−8 second reaction time. This gives Relativistic perception

Thank you for the help. Would you be willing to create a calculation blog for this please?

I was dealing with some life stuff and didn't have time to respond to this thread til now. So from what I see, several people are agreeing with me on the titans not scaling to MFTL+. Though I will say Kukui is the only one with decent arguments for MFTL+ as far as I can think. Overall though, I still lean heavily on them not being MFTL+. The titans being near lightspeed or relativistic in season 5 or something sounds reasonable with the calc above.

Firestorm:

Thank you. Tell us here when you are done.

Never remotely demonstrating such enormous speed in any of their regular non-flying feats makes it an outlier. My apologies.

Oh no I'm on your side here. To go that fast then just stop. If it was the last episode I could swing either way but why are they Hypersonic all the time, then suddenly FTL/Relativistic, then back to Hypersonic. This puts them as fast as or faster than Kid Flash with the Relativistic. Yeah we can buff Kid Flash but it's already a big jump for the first one.

Some people here want to make them MFTL+ based on Starfire's flying speed. Relativistic speed would be far more believable.

Hold up I just rechecked the speed and I got High-Hypersonic+. Cali to France is 9,096 km/5,652miles to go 9,096/5,652 km in .33 seconds is 98181.81818 km/h and 61,007.353418536 mph. That's High Hypersonic+ A 68.3035425939 times decrease did I do my math wrong is Kid Flash not even Relativistic in the first place? This is confusing me, my brain is not supposed to reach over 70 IQ, this thread is too big for me.

Ya know? I was brain off right there. But isn't that still Massively Hypersonic? 61,007.353413536 x 2 = 122014.706837 Which is Massively Hypersonic. (But not at the same time because of the SoL.)
I'm confused. How is it .18c (Massively Hypersonic+) and 122014.706837 (Massively Hypersonic). To say my head hurts rn is an understatement.

@DivineAura44

Massively Hypersonic = 34,300 - 343,000 m/s

Massively Hypersonic+ = 343,000 - 2,997,925 m/s

Relativistic = 2.998e+7 - 1.499e+8 m/s = 29,980,000 - 149,900,000 m/s = 10% - 50% SoL

Kid Flash Calc = 55,127,345 m/s = 5.51e+7 m/s = 0.18c = 18% SoL

Reading this thread, Rela is the highest characters like Robin should be in speed, if we suggest that Massive FTL+ via piloting the ships, characters such as TMNT would have to be in that logic.
