Apotheosis: Heaven's Cry: Game Thread

"I'd say it's slightly better than that but I still don't want to be jumped without a good name... Also, without a weapon. Kinda empty handed here if you couldn't tell."

@Spider_Kaiju

"Bye, jake" the ninja said goodbye before accelerating his motorcycle.

"Who should I look for? The Phoenix girl? No, she sure will be busy or talking about philosophical things."

"Zephyr doesn't seem to like the company." Alastor replied

Mandarin is a no, Frank thought.

"Maybe you should eat" said the enchanted sword.

"Yes, I'm starving"

@DMUA

Frank sped looking for a place to get food

Just searching the world at large doesn't get you anything, Madrid is mostly empty save for the broken remains of buildings and the battle at hand]
“Madness! There’s no one left, every soul, every man, woman and child taken to god knows what kind of hell? I-“

A breath of air puffs out of the mandarin’s lips. His nerves echo his rage throughout his entire body.

“...I’m still here, there must be something I can do to avenge those taken a back. To...hold on.”

His head lifted from his shoulders.

“For now, the only thing I can do is wander. Hope is such a fragile thing, to at least grasp it with false bravado may yield harvest.”

Another flash appears in they city where he met the furry abomination. His summon copied its appearance and shifted his attention towards the center, scurrying actoss the ruins.

"Hey, Izanami? Why the hell a japanese name out of nowhere? She looks tough so you should name her something more western I feel. Maybe Valkyrie or something."

Jozu rants.

"Izanami... what, you want me to cover the world in fog or something? Pretty sure Valkyries are already a thing at least somewhere, so that'll get confusing..."

She takes the blade, weighing it in her hands... Then, she puts her hand on the sheathe right next to her, lifting it up to compare...

"... Whatdaya know, perfect fit."

Holding them both in either hand, she slowly sheathes her blade horizontally, before putting it back at her side.

"I am as close to japanese as one can get without being japanese. I literally had an anime girl installed into my consciousness and I have to consciously try to not speak japanese. This is as good as you're gonna get." Zephyr pokes Jozu.

Running past the creatures, it heads into the center of the ruins. Trampling, knocking down or simply phasing through any creature in it’s way.

Within the dimension,The Mandarin’s anger converts into an icy frustration. He grumbles through his summon.

“Nngh...nothing..here. Not yet.”

Tyrus has been looking on with amusement at the various conversations and interactions going on in the Glory of Alchemy. However in his mind he is connecting his mana throughout his new found creation ability using his Accelerated Learning. Once he feels like he has a solid grasp on the functionality of the ability he silently teleports outside about 100 meters or so away from the Glory of Alchemy and creates a small space around him to see how it goes on the first trial run of the ability.

Zephyr is suddenly hit with 12 consecutive Antichthons from a randomly spawning fiend and instantly forking dies
"See, she didn't like it! Weeb names are silly and uncool, open your mind, follow your heart and call her Melissa."
"I mean, I don't care that much, I just felt like the quip was necessary."

Laoghaire clears his throat as this discussion goes on

"So, if none of you people mind, I would prefer you take this elsewhere. You should look around the city a bit, I've got to get my materials in order and prepare for more customers."

Some regret is present on his face, but overall, he seems to be taking this better than he was before.

Indeed, more space is generated freely.

Eventually, the thing bumps into someone at rapid speed, knocking them both over.

"Hey, what the hell? Can't bother taking a walk after Armageddon before stuff gets crazy?"

He shakes his head a bit.
"Ah, two times in one day, that has to be a record for getting thrown into new worlds." Serena says to herself after all was said and done

"I guess I should get moving then, let's go."

Her army is granted flight through food chain, as she begins moving towards where she figures Moscow should be to see how much had changed from the last world to this newest one. She kept an eye on everything along the way too, looking for anything important or interesting along the way.
[Entirely forgot about this, the travel time shouldn't have been nearly that long, sorry]

Moscow is... Well, not really as it was before.

Some of the more notable structures are still around, such as the Kremlin, but the architecture seems as though it's mashed together with plenty of other cities. There doesn't seem to be anyone around, merely the assorted creatures. Mostly large, bearlike things. At least that hasn't changed.

... Wait, no. There is someone here. They don't seem particularly dangerous, but, it is a point of interest, at least?

Dy1 activates Enquickment once again, now this time teleporting behind Douglas, to try and grab him... activating a combination of Freezing Shard and Supple Rock. As some clones quickly appear to grab him too. Trying to restrain him.
Once again, the gap is closed, and he does manage to get a grip on Douglas for a moment. Though, only in a fleeting moment, as, in a rather unexpected motion, he barely manages to shove the clone off and straight up breaks his own arm to direct a punch straight at Dy1's face, knocking him back for a moment, before he swings his blade to slash the other clone in twane, causing it too to disintegrate. Still though, his body is mostly petrified. It's a wonder he can even move in such a state, but you see the effect rapidly... decay, off of him.

Not quickly enough for Concrehee-ho to not step in, though.

"Combhe-hoo attack, Foundation hee-ho!"

The remaining components reinforce by the power of concrete, stabbing him in various areas, before some in his neck eventually fishhook to completely decapitate him.

His lifeless body lies on the ground, but... Something's wrong about this.

"I have nothing else to do I should go back because let's face it Goldie you being just an arm makes communication hard and I will likely go insane without internet access or easy interaction with a sentient being." I say picking up Goldie. "The outside perspective you give me is doing me wonders." I say laughing at my bad joke looking at the amulet that appeared on my neck earlier wondering what it does.

Dy1 pants, now quickly firing a Buster Shot towards the body... however, being on the lookout. "Concrehee-ho... stay on guard, just in case" He quickly creates a forcefield that surrounds them both, it being firey... however not transmitting any heat from the inside, nor burning... all that would be felt only from the outside

"Ah... whatever, everyone has their taste, guess it's time to go to the jewelry now. See you."

Jozu leaves Glory of Alchemy and sees Tyrus around.

".....Oh, I totally forgot about him... I really should had brought him to Laoghaire......"

The body is blasted backwards, lifelessly tumbling across the ground.

"... I didn't have the chance to tell you earlier, hee-ho, but these guys... They don't really behave like living beings, hee-ho, even by our standards... You have to destroy their soul to put them down, hee-h-"

As if to collaborate with Concrehee-ho's very words, Dy1's danger sense rams itself against the back of his head, as Douglas, blade in hand, fury in his eyes, charges forth and strikes the barrier with his blade. The very flames start to die off as if suffocated from oxygen, as the forcefield cracks and dissolves from contact. Though, just before it truly cuts through...

"FINISH HIM THIS TIME, HEE-HO!"

Concrehee-ho manifests a pillar of concrete, practically exploding out from beneath Douglas' feet, launching him into the air. It doesn't do much, as he simply kicks the pillar back down and shifts his weight mid air for another attack, but... For that one fatal moment, is the perfect opportunity to strike again.
“I need something dammit!”
"Woah woah woah back off back off!"

He straight up pulls the overly large gun at his side, wariness immediately apparent even past his sunglasses.

"What do you need?"

"This is it! Ghost SHOOOT!" Dy1 fires a charged shot... combined with Ghost Hand, turning into an energy blast of a white color, to try and attempt to strike directly at the soul with full power.

[TFW when you demand people to stop at the exact climax of the battle for life and death]

As he tries to make his swing, the blast connects in full force, sending him flying through the sky and ripping him apart. You feel his presence is entirely gone now.

"That was scaryee-ho, I tell you... We may not get so lucky the next time we run into someone like them."
“Can’t...grrr...you see that I’m a normal denizen of this...*******...necropolis?”

He snapped his neck away from the guard, his eyes quaking around the area.
"That is not an answer to my question and I would like to respond to your statement with a severe 'hell no' it is not normal for people in this city to run around at high speed with several mouths. In fact, on that note, I am getting a really familiar vibe from you in ways I don't like."

"That was... a bit exciting, tiring and painful." Dy1 describes his feeling shortly, like his height. "Either way, it's over now... phew." Dy1 somehow sighs in relief. "You wanna take a rest?"

“AHAHAHAHA...it must be you! Nnghh...I’m utterly content from your presence alone! Y-You seem familiar...are you the last remaining human? Where have the others gone?”

Several mouths melted into a face, the fur cracking and molting.Every corner it’s body turning into a bright red muscular form before skin formed on the top. The beast has now taken the form of man. His face covered in a black oni mask.

“It’s so wonderful! Just to meet you here! How have you been?”

"... I dunno. I presume there are others, that Akashica thing sounded like it was addressing multiple people. Though obviously it's a lot less dense than it was before... Maybe it's just the people like us, with powers?

... Speaking of like us, though... You're that one genocidal guy staring down those people at New York, right?"

Hmm, I guess interacting with them might be the best idea right now.

Serena floats a bit closer to them, and has her soldiers lower their weapons

"Hello there, who might you be?"

They see someone wearing a Japanese school uniform, obviously battered and worse for wear, leaning on a wall as they approach.

"... Sorry, I'm a bit worn out for introductions, might you start instead?"

"My name is Serena Cadis. I've just arrived here and have been looking around."

Japanese huh? What are they doing up here?

"... Asoru Heihachi. I'm not sure if there's anything around, I haven't had the chance to look."

"... Yeah. You know how about how the diet building in Japan got destroyed, shortly before the world got destroyed?"

"Oh, so you came from that last world too then? Is who or whatever caused the diet building to be destroyed also in this world?"

"... Yeah, cause it happens to be me. And I failed to account for a Yakuza, very much so with powers and very upset about the ordeal proceeding to blindside me over it... Barely got out by just generating a massive cloud of dust and running to the nearest place to hide, which happened to be here... Turns out, this place isn't too many kilometers away from Tokyo anymore."

"I see, I see. So that yakuza doesn't know you're here? How long do you intend to hide? Surely you didn't plan to just spend all your time in hiding, and had some sort of plan for once you've recovered."

"I guess he just gave up and figured he had better things to do... If he doesn't find me here, I just plan on staying until I don't feel like I'm about to pass out. Which seems like it's going take a bit..."

"I'm not sure he has better things to do in... this"

Serena waves her arm as she says this, indicating that she meant the ruined world around them

"Anyway, you seem pretty exhausted by this whole ordeal, so hows about you take a chance and trust a stranger? I could assist you in dealing with him if he comes around, as long as we stick together. Or you could try to purposely draw him out and have me try to deal with him or something. After you get some rest of course."

"Well, who knows, really? He might be pursuing his Method. Either way... Yeah, I need to recover."
