Oh yeah, sorry for that, I guess I got to carried awayActually, gonna delete those and respond on your wall. This is a staff only thread and, as far as I can tell, you didn't get permission to post.
The bar gets changed from "Lie" to "Lie, and be a good enough artist to get a million views". There's many people who could do the former but not the latter. That neither proves anything, or stops someone from shilling his work to the point that it becomes popular enough to become eligible.
Yeah, can you think of a non-arbitrary number for that?Besides, why 1 millon views, that seems rather arbitrary
The main purpose of this forum is to discuss how to properly index the statistics of characters from a wide variety of different fictional franchises.
Technically any number really, one millon is not more special than...Let say...100K. And even that depends on the medium. It justs seems...Random, and it ignores potential context that could harm the verse crediability (like becoming popular because some random
grifterE-celeb made a video about it)Anyways, I also want to add that the rule doesn't even make much sense, considering a good chunk of verses are either
A. Too weak to be written using powerscaling logic (Unless it is like worms, where it focuses more on the logical side, instead of the "disgaea" part"
B. Too old
Making a rule that has such absurd popularity threshold not only harms the verses that can get in, but also the types of verses that can get in (due to them being too niche to become popular), because we are assuming on the absurdly small chance that the author could be a powerscaler (most of the time just doing a quick read of the novel is far far more reliable than relying on popularity)
