Akame 3

Nero 6

Who wins and why?

What does base Nero mean? Like one weapon only? No durabilty negation attacks?
Nero without Devil Trigger active. Otherwise he has all his weapons.

Akame has a greater chance for a one shot as even when he activates Devil trigger he is still not very good at using it, so i will go for her.

I don't see Akame winning this personally.

While Akame can probably kill him with her haxed blade, it's worthy to note that Nero's healing powers could prevent that.

Not only does Nero hold the power advantage in this fight due to superior stats, he also holds the versatility advantage. Things get worse if Nero decides to use DT to screw her over.

His sword, The Red Queen, is much longer and broader compared to Murasame, therefore granting Nero a clear advantage when it comes to swordplay. Not only that, but the sword can also create quite the shockwaves. It's Exceed system will also increase it's range by pumping some sort of flaming fuel to it, leaving Akame even more outmatched.

His revolver, Blue Rose, allows him to deal good damage from afar. Considering Nero can imbue his demonic power into the Revolver, the weapon's projectiles create igniting flames as they travel and could be used to limit Akame's moving space, at least for a while. It's interesting to note as well that Blue Rose launches two rounds every time it fires, so blocking both would be more difficult.

Nero is quite adept at using both Red Queen and Blue Rose interchangeably so Akame will find it pretty hard to break his defense without getting hit.

Another good thing Nero has is his devil arm, also known as Devil Bringer. This allows him to extend his right arm to reach greater distances and grab enemies and or structures. He can use this to potentially disarm Akame from afar or, considering the battle environment, to give himself an added mobility moving through the terrain with it.

While in Devil Trigger, his stats are amplified and he summons a demonic aura behind himself that can attack enemies (similar to Susano'o from Naruto). While in this mode ever time he fires his revolver, he creates ethereal swrods that are launched towards the enemy.

All in all, Nero takes this because of versatility and combat advantage due to better equipment.

Nero has better durability and AP while Akame has better.....Pretty much everything else.

A single grab from Nero is enough to finish the fight right then and there, but he's far more likely to go in CQC first, and Akame is a far superior combatant as Nero hasn't fought any really skilled opponents aside from a completely unserious Dante.

Voting Akame.

Elaborate.

Huh? Nero likes to use Blue Rose quite a lot. And logically speaking, it's the best method to start the fight because of the fighting distance.

"Akame is a far superior combatant"

Again, elaborate. Akame has not battled anyone noteworthy except Esdeath. Also Nero has slayed countless demons and battled with Dante more than once.

And calling her "far superior combatant" when I already made my argument why she's outmatched in CQC, is downright lazy.

Also Nero employs his Devil Bringer quite often in battle to grab and slam enemies. He can fight both at mid range and at close range with great efficiency.

Nero is High 7C while Akame is 7C, I think that's kinda obvious Nero has better AP and Dura....

What was the first thing he did when demons were attacking the town? His sword, first weapon he pulled when fighting Dante in the second fight? Yamato.

Also, Italic textI don't see how Wave and Kurome are unworthy, also, fighting a 100% unserious Dante and killing demons that are not only fodder in the game, but are also killed by Lady (Devil May Cry) who is 9C, is not at all impressive, he's killed people with the same power as him sure, but none of them are anything Akame can't handle if her poison worked, though the crazy Sparda priest would give her some troubles.

First thing Nero did when fighting Dante was dropkick right in his face him out of anger for messing with his girl and then pulled out his revolver.

And Dante>>>>Akame both in skill and power, even when messing around.

Honestly I've nothing to add to this, so Nero for reasons above.

Dante is High 6A, duh he's better in power.

Also, again, Dante was barely serious in that entire fight, and he's the only notable person Nero has ever fought, hell a flick of his wrist sent Nero flying into a wall.

It's not about being barely serious, Dante always does that. He did however get surprised from Nero's power when he was ragdolling him across the room with his dropkick and devil hand. While Dante can regen that no problem, Akame cannot.

The power difference alone is enough for the girl to feel every strike and parry when their blades clash. Even if theoretically she could be a bit more skilled, the fact that he has more efficient tools, range and power advantage, means that skill is not enough to take her anywhere. At best, it would be somewhat more difficult for him to put her down, but not for long, her sword could even snap and break under that much force.

OH YEAH.

Sorry Scarlet I didn't read your comment.

Yeah, Nero's healing should be high enough to disable the poison.

....Are we sure this isn't a stomp?

@Damned Salvation Fixed it.

@Gargoyle One It's a stretch of an argument, that's why I said could prevent the poison. Murasame stops the heart, so I dunno how it would interact with emo-albino-boy.

It's poison strikes the heart.

Dante, with the same level of Regen as Nero, is completely okay with organs getting turned to mush in pretty much every game, anime and book.

Yeah poison's not working.....

Dante has a more powerful regen than Nero. And Murasame's curse as said, stops the heart, there's nothing to regen, Nero's brain will stop functioning due to lack of blood supply.

Well Nero is very skilled in both far and short ranges so i don't think Akame can put a hole in his defense while Akame can use he OHK the healing factor could delay even prevent that plus Devil bringer can block the murasame blade out as it won't out right stab the hand (i think) and DT just makes the fight worst for Akame also can someone confirm if Nero has Yamato if so then yeah... Nero has my vote anyway though

I thought Nero could summon Yamato only in DT mode. If not, he can only use it on that mode.

\_(-_-)_/

I think it's more bad writing then PIS, theoretically Regen should help with a poison that busts the heart, especially when said Regen has regenerated hearts before.

Also where does Dante having higher Regen come from? He has more then enough feats of being able to survive Murasame even before he got DT from fighting Vergil.

Theoretically Awakened Nero>Unawakened Dante. (If you make a sex pun you're dead)

Also, if the poison doesn't work, which it shouldn't this is a stomp, with it, Nero wins.

Only in gameplay DT, but he's used it without DT in cutscenes

Tatsumi who lived through it...
That was PIS and you know it.
This was akin to Voldemort using Avada Kedavra on Harry and killing his part of the soul and not Harry ........

I am not sure on Dante's regen being better than Nero, but that's how I remember it.

Theoretically Awakened Nero>Unawakened Dante.

Debatable, Nero can't eat pizza and look cool while doing so.

And shrug off three scythes from 3 demons at every angle in that same scene......

It was a bullshit moment for sure, but it wasn't PIS, theoretically someone who almost instantly regenerates organs would have no problem with an organ shutting down....

Organ shutting down != organ getting destroyed to a mush. You can regen the latter, while the former has nothing to regen as it has taken no damage, it just...stopped. I find it interesting that Avada Kedavra could be used as two comparison points in one thread (with it killing the target without any kind of damage).

You missed the =/= right there.

Anyway, this is a High 7C against a 7C, said High 7C is far more versatile, supposedly more skilled, can literally end the fight by just grabbing her with the Arm Grapple thing (Which is much easier to do then it sounds), and he does that as a normal attack.

I'm inclined to believe this is a stomp regardless...

One Grab and a slam into the ground a couple times is more then enough to end the fight right there, and if him skull ******* (literally) the Savior is any indication, Akame is pretty screwed if that makes contact.

Akame's only advantage is the sword which might not even work.......

Not my fault she likes it rough ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Akame's only advantage is the sword which might not even work.......

Sounds familiar...
