Gilgamesh vs Road Kamelot

This 7A Gil?

Road wins this without full EA. None of his weapons have the ability to reach her true form to my knowlege. She ends up trapping his consiousness or bfring him eventually.

Really? I figured if he used EA - not the planet level one - from within her Dream World he could actually damage her somehow since it's an anti-world NP. Or some of his most hax weapons...

Then again Road can create her Dream World again even if destroyed as she herself does it sometimes and it was demonstrated in the Rewinding town arc.

I'll wait for more input on this but for know will count your vote for Road.

Road: 1 (Zensum)

Gilgamesh: 0

Inconclusive: 0

Ea would bust the Dream would, yeah. Plus it can bust concepts (not sure if it needs to be full power to do that though) so it could take down her reliance on Noah Memory of Dream

Gil resists All the World's Evils (which blackens body and soul) through sheer ego willpower. Plus his armour and various equipment's magic resist is insanely high and extends to soul and mind manipulation.

If she ends up dragging him into the dream world, its possible he could destroy her while she is there.

Not voting yet.

@fate Can he use his abilties and weapons freely if his consiouness is trapped? Remember when lavi tried to use his innocence hammer but road removed it from the dream. X

Yes, if they get their Soul removed only the Soul gets trapped within the Dream world . Souless body stays unconscious in the physical plane with the corresponding Road. Same goes for equipment, but Gil has just SO MANY NPs in that gate that, in the words of Alexander more or less "You never run out of things to pull?"

I dunno if he could counter somehow. In fact, I think this match can be close, all things considered.

I won't be taking sides on this one, really, but I can provide clarification on Road if anyone needs it.

Just keeping in mind that Road can remake the world if it's busted (Road herself busted it in occasion or doomed it to fade into nothingness during the Noah's ark arc) - she is the Noah of Dreams and can make various "Dreams" - each of them a world.

Thats true what are some of gils NP's that could be useful here besides EA and Gae Bolg

Harpe negates immortality and creates wounds that cannot be healed except in accordance with the natural laws (i.e. as much and as fast as a normal human would heal from a wound on their own)

Things such as Harpe or Dainsleif would probably hurt badly if they connected to the Dream Road.

Also a powerful enough conceptual attack aimed at her Dream could potentially spell disaster, too.

It's all about Gilgamesh identifying/finding her Dream self, tho, since Allen actually pierced her with the Innocence sword that should oneshot - by surprise - and she no-selled it anyways because it wasn't her true self.

That's why I brought up EA as his best weapon... As always. If Gilgamesh just opened the match with it, would probably be the best for him but.

Gil will be Gil.

Yeah those 2 NP's sound like they would work on roads main body. So how would he get there or find it

He'd get there if Road drags him in. Which she might do.

As for finding it, he might just Ea the whole world and destroy everything in it, her body included

The funniest part about this match is that even if Gilgamesh wins via EA, it will count as a loss in his book because he'll definitely go "Bringing EA against this ------ 'child'".

I doubt she would physcially bring him there as it would be the same as fighting him in the real world. She's more likely to bring his consiouness/soul there.

Destroying her dimmension wont kill her actual body as its just another dream to her, it would be the same as her erasing it.

Quoting this from the Wilhelm thread:

Here's how Road works.

Physical plane road >> Immune to attacks, simply a shadow.

Dream world road >> Not immune to attacks but does not feel pain, can be hidden anywhere within any of her dreams assuming any form (she can be the ground if she wants), and can regen even if damaged badly anyways as long as the concept of her Memory of Noah remains. She busted her own head and busted herself along with one of her dreams on occasion and was seen soundly few moments later.

Noah's Memory: Dreams >> Damage/Destroy this concept if you want to get rid of her. Otherwise she can keep regenerating or lolnopping stuff. Once these threads are done I'll see If I can get a revision on Road to give her some resistance to conceptual damage too, considering someone stronger than her (Basically her weakness Embodied in a Living Weapon) actually aimed DIRECTLY at this concept and she took the full brunt of the damage to protect someone else, but actually survived. She was incapacitated nonetheless, so someone with a powerful Conceptual attack can probably defeat her. Like Gil with Ea, for example.

As I'd like to point out, if EA does Conceptual Damage and Gil actually pulls it on Road here, I don't see her surviving the attack. Actually, I might see her surviving - since she didn't die from that hit aimed at her "Noah's Memory: Dreams" from Apocryphos (but that's stretching, she never tanked anything on EA's lvl) - but definitely not in any condition to fight or manifest in the physical plane or anywhere, much less fight anytime soon. At best, she would be simply that SD version of herself floating around the emptiness - giving the victory to Gil.

@fate if he got into her dreamscape physically and used EA would it just bust that pocket dimmension or all of it?

The thing with EA is that, if I understand correctly, it does Conceptual Damage at full power. And Road doesn't have showings of tanking anything on EA's level (that also does Conceptual Damage) and resuming the fight.

Apocryphos actually did damage to Road DOWN to the conceptual level in her Noah's Memory in that hit she took for Allen, despite not necessarily being within her dream world (I actually posted the scans in the other thread, I'll edit them here, too).

Here's showing what happened when her Noah's Memory got broke as she took the hit for Allen.

/\

Therefore a good hit that actually goes for her Concept would work against her Memory - i. e. EA would work.

What's working against Gilgamesh's EA the most here is his own arrogance of not using it. He might actually go down before using it (this happened in a number of his fights), but I'll leave to the people voting to analyze and make their decisions.

Also busting Road's dream busts one of those boxes. Each of those boxes is a dream of hers (you can see that in the Rewinding town arc where, when she lets her own world disappear, only one of the boxes is gone).

I originally said it as a joke in that other thread, but it's because I legit see "He lasts long enough to get pissed and use EA, ending the match" being a valid argument here. I don't see why Gil WOULDN'T use his surefire weapon when other stuff that SHOULD work keeps failing.

Like TFS Goku said: "Better try that thing that always works."

Plus, Road's Dream World. EA anti-world NP.

Do the math. Plus his resistances should keep him in the game against her own hax long enough for that.
