Reminder this a hypothetical match between two fictional characters before yall try to hang me.


Both are at Low 6-B, Savage Fire Natsu is being used


Winner via any means necessary


Speed is Equalized


Battle takes place in Amazon Lily


Portgas D. Ace:0


Natsu Dragneel:0


Incon:0


Willing to switch Ace for Katakuri or another YC if need be.
 
Natsu's scaling chain: Irene(2.1 Terratons)<Zeref<<<Fairy Heart Zeref<Savage Flame Dragon Natsu

Ace is Baseline or slightly above it if I'm not mistaken.

Either way Natsu burns Ace's soul gg.
 
The AP is actually equal if anything since Ace downscales from a higher feat than that Natsu scales to. Ace scales below 2.5 Teratons for holding his own against Admirals while in a bad state.


Also Natsu's soul manipulation isn't a OHKO, nothing like that.
 
We've went over this on Akainu vs Natsu, his soul manipulation isn't lethal. Don't mistake his soul manipulation for Reitasu GG. It's also pretty inconsistent as it doesn't happen every time Natsu hits someone.
 
This form Natsu legit burn his soul, 7FD mode soul manipulation should be inconsistent, not this one, either way, Ace didn't have any real way to hurt natsu, he didn't shown to use haki in character in series(idkvabout spinoff)
 
Ace has plenty of ways to harm Natsu, what are you on about? And he does use Haki, he literally used it subconsciously against a Marine back in his noob days.
 
Here we go, Natsu isn't eating Ace, or rather Ace wouldn't let that happen. "BEATS HIM" doesn't mean anything either if you aren't saying anything else. So you can either debate properly or leave

There is only way that ace can't let him eat is turn into physical from and get punched

Getting punched can be said for Natsu as well, Ace and Natsu are very comparable when it comes to AP and durability so that doesn't matter much. Also no, Ace used Busho in the canon Novel. Ace doesn't need to use fire, he can fight CQC, Natsu wouldn't be able to use fire against Ace either.

Ace's AP Peak is when he is using his devil fruit which is only going to fuel Natsu. When he's using his physical attacks he's probably 50% weaker so he won't even hurt Natsu. How is this hard to understand?

Kek, Ace isn't 50% weaker without his fire, that's something you literally made up. If that's what you think then make a CRT since the profile states otherwise.
 
According to Portgas D. Ace article on One Piece Wiki: While not portrayed in the main storyline, it was revealed in a flashback that Ace possesses Haoshoku Haki, which at the time he had no conscious control over. Ace first demonstrated the ability at 10 years of age, when he knocked the Bluejam Pirates crew unconscious after an outburst of rage (only Bluejam himself remained conscious from the Haki release, and he was a high-tier of East Blue at the time). Much as Luffy used his Haki to knock out a crowd of Kuja warriors, Ace used his Haki to knock out the attacking members of Bluejam's pirate crew.

Ace was first shown to have knowledge about it when during the Battle in Marineford, he witnessed Luffy unknowingly unleash his Haki and remarked "You too?". He has never been seen using Haki apart from during his childhood.

Striking Strength: At least Large Mountain Class+, likely Small Country Class (Van Augur stated his basic combat prowess were as excellent as one would expect of a Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates)

No it states that ace's basic martial arts are Small Country Level.


But anyways I'm voting Natsu

For anyone, saying that Natsu EATS Ace. That would be a very bad idea for Natsu. Because this fire can turn into a human. So basically, Natsu sucks in Ace, pats his stomach in joy that he got a fire in his belly, then Ace would turn back into a human inside his stomach and then… I don't need to describe what happen next. It won't be pretty

I mean the fire that gets eaten is instantly turned into magic power so idk if ace could turn back into ace if it's no longer fire.

Elements get turned into Magic when they are eaten. So if he eats him, he won't just sit in his stomach, he'll be converted into magic.

Also for the whole Haki thing using it once or just having access to it =/= it being in character. For example Naruto has access to Genjutsu via Frog Song, but he's never ever used this.
