Genie vs. Discord Re-Do (Grace!)

So, the old Thread had to be removed due to MLP Tier upgrades, but this means we can now redo this with both of them at their strongest. Plus, this'll be the celebratory first match for 4-B Discord.

-Both are 4-B

-Speed Equal

-Fight takes place in a desert

It was an attempt at a joke. Saw others do it.

But, it doesn't look like Genie has any different powers than before. Only difference is he's stronger, but so is Discord. He better keep is lamp safe though otherwise Discord might just zap it out of existence and Genie along with it.

Dude it's not even in his Standard Equipment and Discord has no idea of this weakness.

In any case and ignoring how Genie's type 8 Immortality is probably wanked, I vote Discord as I was told that he leads with hax, which may not be the case for Genie.

Um, imprisoned Genie is the one who is 4-B. How is he not going to have the lamp keeping him imprisoned on him? He manifests from the lamp. If the lamp isn't with him, he can't manifest out of it. Yeah, but Discord is smart. Assuming he sees Genie coming out of the lamp (he probably will notice the thin cone of smoke leading from Genie into the lamp) he might assume it's important.
 
You have a point on the first thing, which doesn't matter here as this is no CRT, and for the second thing that makes no sense at all.
 
Genie doesn't seem to have any resistance to mind manipulation, so while these two would be rather evenly matched for a while, if at some point Discord decides to get serious, he could control Genie's mind. The two seem pretty comparable otherwise.

Not Disney Genies, I meant Genies in general. It's not a stretch to assume he knows that a lamp is what contains a genie.
 
Whatever you mean with what you say is something only you know given that you aren't bothering in explaining anything. Genie is already outside of his lamp, even if that wasn't the case Standard Battle Assumptions gives him enough time to go out before being in front of Discord, and even if he were to do that in front of him the lamp would still be an irrelevant item.
 
Will he not see Genies lower body going into the lamp?

Not sure if it even matters. Discord should still take this for the same reasons as last time. Only thing that changes is thier AP.
 
That assumes he wouldn't use his legs 100% of the time and that he would have the lamp at the end of his body even after being in front of an opponent that was 4km apart moments before. When he doesn't even have it in his standard equipment. And the same problem of the lamp being nothing but an irrelevant item is still there. I have no idea what were you thinking.

Kinda redundant given both of our votes.
