No, Darkness is Elemental Essence, Vengestone can also nullifies Elemental Essences, but Darkness Elemental is not influenced by Vengestone (I basically made a CRT for The Overlord that proves that its element is not affected by Vengestone even in Physical form, so The Overlord has Resistance to Power Nullification).

Well tbf given that Lloyd’s Energy was blocked by Vengestone, it means that it is not a weakness of Vengestone but the ability of Garmadon and Overlord to resist it…

How is this a stomp? Discord can transmutate Overlord’s blasts and Overlord himself.

looking at both profiles, it looks like discord has more wincons so im leaning towards him. idk anything about MLP so how does discord fight? the thing about overlord's corruption is that its a blast that can easily be dodged or blocked, i dont see why discord just couldnt move out the way of it

If this becomes the case then can just power and energy absorption to take Discord's power similarly to Grogars Bell. Or just uses EE as to get it over with when he gets annoyed. (Overlord could hold all the Golden Weapons giving him resistance to EE as they erase people that aren't strong enough to wield them.

When Overlord showed power absorption? Also, powernull won’t work cuz Discord resists it.
EE honestly should be limited, since Discord (Low 1-C) is strong enough to wield Golden Weapons (4-C).

His EE and EE resistance should match his tier due to his statistics amplification.

Power absorption is a mix of power nullification and power mimicry though.
Even if that’s true, he needs Discord to touch him, and Discord is not a melee-type character.

Imo, the fight would be like this:
Overlord tries his Golden Power blasts/Corruption blasts (whichever it is doesn’t matter), Discord transmutates them, Overlord becomes angry and does the same thing he did to Ninjas (Resistance Negation + Powernull).
And this is not a stomp, Discord does have wincons that he uses in character, he’s just too cocky to do that.
So, my vote is on Overlord.
