I rushed through it quickly, but if you look closely, Ichigo used his sword as a second horn to fire that cero.
 
Seriously, up until Ichigo's usage, Gran Rey Cero was useless and while powerful, and forces Ichigo to use his Hollow Mask, it never did the damage it would do. Here, it shows that when he was hit with a bunch of Hollow techniques of powers and when it does hit, it actually does something and for once, it wasn't tanked.
 
@Deko. Hmm. It looked like it wasn't tanked, but Yhwach is smiling like it didn't even hurt him.
 
Ichigo pretty much shows what would really happen if the technique you get hit by your opponent a long time ago was actually remembered and for a while understanding how to use it and find the right opponent for it.

Nop, Yhwach had his normal eyes in this chapter and all his powers were off. Just like in his vision, Ichigo should be now on par with Ichibei who gave normal Yhwach a beat down. But that's my opinion.
 
As strong as Ichibei?! I am pretty sure he is a lot more powerful than that, since he isn't just weakening Yhwach by halving his physical and spiritual attributes, and repelling him. He outright slashes him. I think Yhwach didn't just use the same solid blade he had when fighting the monk.

I don't know there were no signs of Yhwach even using that power/speed. He look normal, like if he dowgrade himself to see Ichigo's full capabilities. He took that final panel shot smilling.

Well, your right about that. But didn't Yhwach keep restoring his powers and still the monk waxe him around?
 
Yes, that's because while Yhwach could do that, it's exactly as you said, Hokage Manga Vox, he needs to keep restoring his powers because Ichibee's abilities are something not just anyone can ignore and would stupidly fight being covered in black and having their inability to speak. So once he fully understands his power, Yhwach not only restores his power back, he outright turn the tides and kills the leader of the Royal Guard.
 
But ichigo is manage to to surprize mimihagi soul king Yhwach with the almighty off with his speed, and we know that for ichigo, his bankai is always speed>>>power.
 
Hmm. I agree with Hokage. It seems Yhwach is not even serious and is only testing Ichigo's powers. He even complimented on it.

Yhwach had no ink when Ichibei was playing tag with him. (Giant hands strikes.) He hadn't even release his shikai yet.

Yhwach wasn't moving and we saw how Yhwach block his sword with his hand.
 
Let's see. Does that mean that Ichigo is much faster and destroyed the throne room both he and Yhwach were in.
 
The sword Yhwach used looks like this one[[1]]. Are we sure that isn't Yamamoto's bankai? Since Yhwach doesn't have his zanpakuto (katana), how is he going to manifest his first, third and fourth ability which requieres a Katana.
 
If that is Zanka no Tachi, then Ichigo somehow survives it and Yhwach is purposely using it in controlled levels.
 
Actually, it's entirely different from the Heilig Pfeil he used to form into a broadsword to slash and kill Shigekuni Yamamoto with.

Yes. It turns that Grimmjow outright confirms that yes, it's actually the ultimate Cero, and not just any type.
 
Wasn't the Ultimate Cero, Cero Oscuras? Which was on par with Ichigo's normal cero's. Now imagine Ichigo doing a Cero Oscuras. Or was that unique to Ulquiorra? I think Ulquiorra said all espadas above 4 can used it, right?
