Nova Terra VS Space Marine

Speed is equalized and High 6-C gear is banned. Nova has her Ghost Visor, Apollo Suit, Pulse Grenades, and her standard C-20A Canister Rifle while the Space Marine gets a Bolt Pistol, a Bolter, Grenades, and a Combat Knife

Nova is much more challenging than a fodder marine from StarCraft. And I'm going to go with her. Nova may be younger and less experience, but her telepathy more than makes up for that. Her invisibility and teleportation can also help her be more unpredictable. And as a last resort, she could use her mind manipulation.

Tough call, but leaning towards Nova.
 
Her mind hax only works with the mind control visor since Ghosts and other psionic Terrans get some sort of limiter on them to prevent them from shredding peoples minds and also to protect them from a bombardment of thoughts everywhere. Regardless, vote counted.
 
Hmm, I see. I keep forgetting Mind Blast was an ability Spectres have, not Ghosts also.
 
She technically also has it lol, and probably other psionics similar to her level or at least Spectre/Ghost levels of psionics. Nova has a PI level of 10 and she blew up an entire hive cluster.
 
i think nova due to her psionic abilities and her superiority to the basic marine in starcraft, i have to ask though to make a much better conclusion how do the marines of starcraft compare to the marines of warhammer, if there is a big difference then i can see the space marine winning unless she starts using powerful psionics from the beggining.
 
Marines are no where near as experienced as the ones in Warhammer; especially since Warhammer's aren't really human anymore and are 60-80 years. Though, some marines such as Jim Raynor and Tychus are quite skilled. Just a note, Jim Raynor has an attack on his sniper rifle called the "Penetrator round" which can kill over 50 targets with a single bullet. And also severely damages even 8-B monsters such as Nydus Worms.

Also, I kind of need to point out that the Marine's tactics might be kind of moot, since Nova can literally read his mind and thus know his entire plan and every move he makes before he makes them. I'll also say that Nova has stomped entire armies of marines before.
 
She's still only human, and I've got plans to also possibly upgrade the marines in the future. Also vote counted.
 
Yeah, inconsistencies happen, and she is human with notable human weaknesses yes. In other scenes, Nova has been able to take on an entire army that had Battlecruisers and stuff single handedly.
 
I personally don't see it as an inconsistentcy, more like a sign of normal human weaknesses. Marines are physically capable of making a Zealot bleed with their fists and knock out a Hydralisk plus Nova herself.
 
Not what I meant; yes, marines can still harm her. But I meant it's PIS for her skill/intelligence. Considering her mind reading should have let her see that coming.
 
The range is currently downplayed atm for a lot of the starcraft characters since we're still planning on polishing them. Nova scales to Kerrigan's sniper rifle range which is 5 kilometers and Marines are capable of shooting aircraft out of the air which are kilometers away. So I'd say a kilometer away in a ruined city area that's been demolished by either the Zerg or Tyranids for both Nova and the Space Marine.
 
my vote goes to nova due to her psionics, superior ranged warfare with her sniper, she has stealth too and she basically has all the advantages she needs to win in this fight.
 
he does but nova is defintally superior with her ranged cababilites, add to that her psionics and she can definitalty win. if they were closer to each other then the marine could pull a victory.
 
Also when I mentioned the "Marines" in my range comment awhile ago, I meant the Terran Marines lol.
 
ya ik xD. space marines are definitaly superior to the terran marines by alot so in the case of 100m he could possibly pull it off.
 
Yeah, the range stats for Starcraft profiles are among the most downplayed things here. And I even recalls feats of Ghosts and spectres having some psionic powers that even worked across interstellar distances. Like Tosh's Voodoo doll worked on Tychus despite being "6 Light Years away".
 
Doesn't Nova have 2 votes? Overlord said he was leaning towards her.
 
How much more above a regular Marine is she? And what's the degree of her mindhax?
 
Stuff like Zealots and High Tenplar are going to be upgraded into High 8-C or 8-B depending on the upcoming revisions and she can mind control a giant Zerg siege beast like Ultralisk that normally resists mindhax. And atm she should be much higher than a Marine due to feats and scaling closer to the Protoss troops.
