To be perfectly fair, speed is equal here.
Speed and Mobility are 2 different factors.
While it's true that the speed is equalized. But the Dreadnought seem to be much more clunky in it's movement.
I have checked some other video where Dreadnought is much more dexterous, but they seem to be just fan animation.

That said, I can still see the Space Marine would know how to deals with Gaim quickly given his amount of experiences. But because the AP gap is not that big, the fight wouldnt be end soon.
And Gaim himself has various weapons to choose to deals with the Space Marine. Once Gaim realized that the Dreadnought is too durable for him to finish it quickly, he's would bring his own mech (Suika Arms) to the battle, which is also has vastly stronger AP. Not only Suika is much more mobile than the Dreadnought, it can also fly. If thing doesnt look good for Gaim, he's can alway goes with Suika Suicide Bombing Attack

Against a large sized enemy, Gaim is very likely going to go into Watermelon Arms. The dreadnought looks very clunky and will hinder the space marine a lot. While Watermelon Arms is a large sized mech that is VERY mobile, being as mobiles as any of Gaim's other forms (except Strawberry Arms).

Gaim also has many things it can do to counter Dreadnought's fire power. First, Gaim's Gyro Mode might even have more firepower than Dreadnought. Second, Armor Mode can trap Dreadnought in a Watermelon projection and Gaim can get free hits in.

I think the Space Marine has somewhat a higher chance when fighting close combat because the Dreadnought's fist is actually a Power Weapon that can split the bonds between matters, allowing him to durability neg.
