This might be a stomp, but I hope not.

Key(s): DMC2 Dante (Low 2-C version), and Volume 19 - Volume 20 Shido Itsuka.

Mindset: In-Character.

Speed?: Speed is equalized.

Distance: Both Shido and Dante start out 38 meters apart.

Dante vs Shido
Dante: 8 (Schnee One, Dienomite22, RebubleUselet, Dante Demon Killah, Ionsliosite, Oliver de Jesus, and ArgosaxDespair)
Shido Itsuka:

Dante teaches Shido about smokin sexy style (Inconclusive): 2 (The God of Procrastination, and Galens)
 
Well, Dante is like that. dante base (Dmc2)> sparda = void mundus> mundus = argoxas> under 2-C. so dante has an advantage in ap even in base.

Dante's sealing comes from Sparda sword, which he doesn't use in DMC2. It's also very out of character for him to use.

Sealing was retconned to Dante channeling Sparda's power into his guns.Though Dante can use Sparda in verses match ups since he still canonically has it by DMC2.
 
If that's the scalling chain for Shido, Dante can one shot him in Devil Trigger and even more on Majin Form

Sealing comes from Sparda, true, and literally every key have the Sword since he still have it, but he doesn't start with it, his first moves are Rebellion + Ebony and Ivory

However, with this ap gap, it might be the only thing he needs
 
Well that is a high level of law manipulation almost pulling the nfl (on the part of which says it controls all the laws of the world).
 
Shido has to summon that angels first, it doesn't take long though. So, Dante has at least a chance to get to Shido before he uses.

No, but Dante doesn't know he has sealing AND lawhax. And as far as I know, Dante doesn't lead with sealing.
 
Since this is DMC2 Dante I'd say it's a coin flip on wether or not he would DT at the start which would basically make it an easy win for Dante.Shido has alot of abilities that can destroy Dante but would only be able to get them off if Dante doesn't DT at the start.Imo it's inconcluesive for right now.
 
If there is a literal law saying he can't harm the guy he is fighting then he will try the only other option, and that's sealing.

1. Shido would have sealed Dante by that point already.

2. How would Dante even know about the law? He just needs to think it, Dante would have no way to know he can't harm Shido.
 
So either Dante destroys him with AP or Shido Law Haxes

Inconclusive, since DT Dante is 10x faster then him and can Time Stop with Chrono Heart, and considering that Shido doesn't use his Law Hax right at the beggining
