Nasuverse Discussion Board 23

I thought about how Fate really matured from being an Eroge game in 2004., but then I see stuff like this and remember that Kiara exists.
 
"Matured" isn't the word I'd use.

I personally think H scenes aren't a thing anymore since the franchise as a whole is way too exposed at this point for that, and you can't really do that in Animes/Mangas/Videogames, which is a big part of its content now.

At least its content isn't softcore ecchi harem crap like a lot of modern animes, which to me is even worse than going full 18+ mode.

Don't know about Nasu's other works though.

Just to put this out again I guess, the ones who've picked up the Servants for GudaGuda4 to be worked on are myself for Nagao, Mori for Everlasting, and Maou Nobunaga for Ramesses.

Any questions on these, you should ask either of us about it when we get to making them later in drafting.
 
Since this thread are ded lemme bringing this to live. So what are the servants you think being too hyped and/or wanked alot? For me too hyped is Tesla, people thinking he can outclass every divine servant and put him in Gil tier while in reality he's not that OP, earth or sky advantage are just a gameplay purpose abd his stats aside NP are sub-par. Wanked alot is Nobu tbh, like people think her 2nd NP can kill god tier divine servant which is not.

Well, he may be getting an upgrade to his NP. Do you mean Gil tier with CIS or without CIS? Without CIS, I agree, that's wank, but with CIS, I think you could call them a comparable threat. I don't really know much about him tho, beyond some base level knowledge, so take that with a grain of salt, I just know he has some good potential upgrade material
 
Anyway, to answer your question. Tbh I think some of the CCC servants are over hyped, with BB in particular. BB is good, but I think the more notable part of her is a utter willingness to dump her fill arsenal into someone. Anyone with decent authority should be able to deal with her. Don't get me wrong, she is good, but she kinda has the issue that anyone who should be fighting her on somewhat equal footing should have the authority to deal with her. It kinda shows one of the things I hate about authority, and that Nasu cannot balance his own power system to used Authority as a massive hammer so he doesn't have to properly balance his characters.
 
Yeah without CIS, and NP upgrade mean SK gonna be high 6-A right? Still can't jack shit to top tier servant tho. How do you think about Nobu?
 
Lorewise, I am not exactly sure anyone is really wanked? So I find that a very odd question. The moment you start saying that he gets compared to Gil and things like that, then you must be speaking about fans.

Unless by Lorewise you mean people using the gameplay unrelated info. In that case that's less wanking and more people being incredibly bland and unimaginative. Whether they are Gil Level is something everyone will think differently, but there's a lot of people damn close to Gil's level of power and they never use those. And worst of all, the Nasuverse is tired of showing compatibility matters a lot in fights, but everyone still goes Gil, Gil, Gil, Gil, let's just say he is totally on Gil's level. Then Ozymandias comes from behind and commences Slaughter. So again, this feels less like wank and more like people can't be bothered to really think these things.
 
It's because of the NP of tesla that was called wank though.

With the release of its True Name, the surrounding area is destroyed with the ÒÇîgeneration of a limited, artificial fracture in space-timeÒÇì. It's one hell of an offensive and defensive Noble Phantasm, but its fuel consumption is relatively poor.
 
I doubt it's wank to say that he can pretty much kick Gilgamesh in the teeth with that, though?

The TRUE question is if Gil reacts in time to it or his pride slows him down. Knowing GoB, Gil likely has some defensive Armament to deal with fractures in space time.
 
He has something that stops dimensional refraction from the second magic so I would imagine so

Kind of, i mean Tesla is one of mankind greatest scientist and doesn't mention he stole lightning to mankind so Gil will be like "okay mate, time to be serious because you call yourself new god of lightning"
 
Leaving aside that he didn't literally steal lightning, I really doubt that. Proving he's even more superior by not going all out on someone so "important" sounds exactly like Gil.
 
For those who don't read news, the ancient city of Babylon has been officially recognized as a world heritage site. I never knew Gil was from iraq, though calling him brown makes as much sense as calling Black Panther white lol.

This was brought up a while back.

Basically, no matter if a hero older than Gilgamesh is discovered, Gilgamesh will still be the "first" hero because he was the "first" hero to be recorded in the Throne, even if he isn't chronologically the first existing hero.
 
Aren't there some abilities missing from servant profiles? I recall they should all have resistance to chaos tides but a lot of them don't have them.
 
I have recalled seeing some missing them but not being added to it like the others have.

That and they also missing telepathy and only have possession rather than getting both.

I can try and look into all of them to check later.
