Lobotomy Corporation Discussion

I see we're making Lobotomy Corporation profiles now.

I played quite a bit it awhile ago. Here is a screenshot I took of an immortality feat for the abnormalities. They are entities originated from humanity's sub-consciousness, as a result they can't really die as they just keep coming back.

ImmortalAbnormalities

Gebura helps confirm that.

Hey 2hu, a new challenger has arrived : D

In all seriousness while it is impressive it's not that high scale. I think there are some definite vaporization abilities though like that Green Midnight ability and such.

"No matter how many pieces they're broken into" seems to imply something closer to High-Mid regen. Does anything imply Type 8 btw? Because this combined with the fact that they come from humanity's subconscious implies that they are immortal based on it, but there isn't any solid proofs.

Also I feel like you were messing with me by mentioning Yukari in the Lobotomy Corporation because then I ate this:

Lobotomytrain

I'm gonna have to check more. Trying to unlock all cutscenes and build an optimized team. Though farming an event in FGO so gonna have to combine both.

Isn't that Yukari tho ? Lol

Also the train's annoying but it can be useful... But hard to master imo

Edit - Wait. I remember. IT's based on the Well

Here's a screenshot of their physiology just in case:

SubcoAbnormality
And another immortality statement:

ImmortalAbnormaility
And yeah, this regen would apply to all abnormalities and explains why they reappear in their containment unit after being defeated. As well as why the same Ordeals keep popping up.

If that's the only proof for the sub-conscience feat it might be a bit lacking, as true it might be. But I think the Well on Binah's cutscenes help somewhat. I'm gonna check later.

Well Ordeals are clearly a species rather than one individual so by itself it's not regen. But since they're pretty much uncontained Abnormalities, they'd still get regen.

Well them being born out of humanity's mind isn't anything new. The question is whether or not they can be re-created after death, and if it's the mechanism behind their immortality.

I think High-Mid is still warranted even with what we have, given the statement mentions being broken into pieces.

Also, anyone who uses BLACK attacks should get Non-Physical Interaction, as they can harm non-corporeal abnormalities like Dimensional Refraction Variant.

Fair on that. Would it be combat applicable though? Thinking no, but then again Lob Tech does aim to contain them.

Same for Pale damage? Considering what it does even if the target doesn't have a soul?

They take like, seconds to Respawn. Even assuming literal seconds is game mechanics, the timeframe would still be low enough to be considered applicable here for the hour long KO clause we have here.

Pale is like Death Manip to my knowledge. It would mean that the verse's death manip can affect the mind and non-corporeal beings, but it's not outright Non-Physical Interaction. Only BLACK gets it, because it involves physical damage as well, not just hax like Pale and White does.

Fair, employees at Lob Corp are hyper efficient on containing them fast then.

Just checked it was soul damage. Where are you getting death manip just curious? Makes sense though.

Soul manip is considered WHITE damage already, given that Old Lady's EGO weapon is stated to hurt the soul, and it's WHITE. Meanwhile Pale damage is described as being Death itself and such.

I'm checking the manual and this rn but-

https://lobotomycorp.fandom.com/wiki/Damage_Type

White means more mental damage, and it might just be an overlap with the soul with grandma there.

Black damage is combination of physical and mental.

Pale is definitely described as that though. Gonna have to find that soul feat since the wiki and manual seems to share different stuff.

I was planning to do a general employee profile for scaling. But then I realized that knowing all the EGOs would be needed. So rip.

Lol, gotta finish the game first. Even my max is only up to Day 44 but then again that's mostly cause I wanna finish everyone's missions. (Binah you suck)

Though I feel like after a certain point you shouldn't worry about spoilers.

Well I'm just thinking that WHITE damage is mental for the most part, but that soul manip is just considered WHITE damage. Doesn't mean that everyone who uses WHITE damage uses soul manip. But it does mean that those who resists WHITE damage also resists soul manip.

Wasn't there an abnormality with a butterfly for it's head holding a coffin ( I forgot it's name) that also was said to harm the soul?

Yeah. Funeral of the Dead Butterflies. There's implications on the relation of sanity and soul actually. They immediately die rather than panic or so on.

So to the list of things we will have to add:

-High-Mid Regen for all Abnormalities

-Non-Physical Interaction for BLACK users

-High 8-C for ZAYIN, TETH and most HE Abnormalities

-8-B for WAW, ALEPH and some HE Abnormalities

-High Hypersonic+ for everything

Jokingly said to someone back then that Ruby Rose vs Red riding Hood Mercenary should be a thing.

But now it's actually almost like she's made to hard counter Ruby.

This means war against Weekly D:

Also you forgot possibly soul manip, but then again that might be already in

Thinking about it though, dealing mental damage could be different from mind manipulation too considering it basically breaks the character's psyche. In a way would that mean certain durability can be bypassed by just doing what they do?

You're saying that it's not mind hax by saying that it's mind hax instead. Breaking someone's psyche is still mind hax.

Any damage that isn't RED bypass durability to a degree basically. WHITE and BLACK are mind hax and PALE is death hax.

Oh no I mean sort of like breaking down someone's spirit by talking to them, instead of attacking them with some mind haxx thing. Trying to see if there's a difference between the mbasically.

And gotcha, isn't Black also physical?

Unlike what Lovecraftian fiction tries to tell us, you cannot go instantly mad from seeing a mudane, non-mind hax thing. So it's definitively still mindhax.

It's both physical and mental, but the mental part should still ignore durability.

Wew...

Btw, what's you guys think about Yin Yang Dragon?

"The face of an employee who had a cheerful eyes, distorted with sadness. The employee who just cried all along, finally stopped. The employee, who broke his leg, stood on his own legs. The employee who was heading to the lounge bled to death. As the end circles back to the beginning, those who had hope are met with despair, those who had despair are met with hope. At the end of the beginning, the dragon that has become a great avatar, flew through the sky."

In game effect: if Yin Yang Dragon touch an employee while he/she has 100% health, he/she will die, 10% health then he/she will be healed into 90% health and etc. There are several abnormality who is immune to his ability, including apo bird and whitenight.

@Saikou

Fair nuff, I think I was more associating "Stop someone from fighting by talking alone" with it rather than mind death. So yeah you're definitely right.

@MachTwo

Definitely durability bypass. I don't see anything else beside that. Seems like a reverse health sort of deal. But what can that be categorized...

Tbh It's not only reverse health, It kinda reverse everything else:

>The face of an employee who had a cheerful eyes, distorted with sadness

>The employee who just cried all along, finally stopped

>The employee, who broke his leg, stood on his own legs

>The employee who was heading to the lounge bled to death

It will reverse SP as well. Yin will absorb melee attacks and deals Black Damage to its attacker. Yang will constantly deal minor white damage + Yang will absorb ranged attacks and deal white damage to the attacker. If both of them are united, they will become dragon that kill everything in their path(If employes has 100% HP or SP) and deplete the qliphoth counter of abnormalities in its way.
